The given flow chart provides essential information regarding a bad impact of clear cutting of forests on the environment.
Looking from an overall perspective, it can be definitely said that if forests were cut it would lead to the number of severe problems, and most of them will cause the decrease of biodiversity.
Firstly, it would affect on the soil: its hardening would cause flooding, while its erosion would make vegetation degraded.
Secondly, the risk of burning would increase, which can cause the destroying of waste wood from logging and, consequently, micro-organisms feeding on waste lost. Thirdly, deforestation would decline the amount of moisture returned to the air by plants, thus decreased precipitation would lead to the growing of droughts. Two last causes would become the major factors of moving in of the pioneer species and also of the degradation of the vegetation and , consequently, of the fall of biodiversity.
