It is fact that most of the children’s around the world are having the issues regarding the obesity and other health problems related to it. Some people assert that these problems are the results of carelessness and irresponsible behavior to children’s health from government. As far as I am concerned, each and every parents and individuals are equally as responsible as government for their health.
Firstly, parents should be well aware about their children’s health and take care of them. Motivating children to participate in different sports activities such as cycling, swimming, playing football and so on , could be very effective way to keep them physically and mentally healthy. Researchers claims that children whose parents motivate and support their kids to involve in some sports are physically fit and face only few health problems in compare to other kids. Secondly, it is to be noted that children should be given more freedom to play outdoor than watching TV and playing video games on computer, which would automatically help them to keep fit and active. It is obvious that, playing outdoor games help children to be more active and creative while watching tv and playing video games has a passive content and no need to be active and imaginative which would affect children’s health directly or indirectly. Above all, the most practical way to keep children healthy is making sports and PT classes compulsory by schools. Many health problems in children like obesity, diabetes, heart diseases are caused due to the lack of body exercises which could be compensate if these sports classes are made compulsory in schools. Thus, every parents and individual should be well conscious towards their health and participate in physical exercises.
When it comes to government, we should be well aware that even if government tries its best to provide health facilities to children but they don’t get involve in any sorts of sports or do exercises , they just can’t lose their weight and may have to face many health problems in future. In order to, remain healthy and avoid health issues, government can launch health programs and awareness related to health in public but at last it is parents and individuals who should practice healthy lifestyle. For example; those children and parents who made their children practice healthy lifestyle becomes more healthier free from heavy weight and health problems related to it. In similar manner, schools can play another major role after parents organizing sports weeks and different sports competition which children might find interesting.
To conclude, I believe that parents , schools and each individual should be more preventive and responsible regarding children’s health and possible health problems that obesity could bring. Thus, rather than blaming government all he time for everything, we should be more practical and take care of the children as much as possible.
