The graph shows us the number of books read at the Burnaby Public Library by men and women during the four years of 2011 to 2014. Overall, the number of books read by men has been on a steady increase during the mentioned period. While more books were read by women at the start of this period their numbers dropped down by the final year.
Firstly, there is a reasonable difference between men and women, with the number of books read by men on a steady increase during this period, while the number of books read by women was on the rise till 2013, after which it was on a decline.
The number of books read by men increased from about 3000 in 2011 to 4000 in 2012, then 10,000 in 2013, and then to 14,000 in 2014, which was the highest figure between the two in that period. The graph illustrates the number of books read by men and women at Burnaby Public Library between 2011 and 2014.
Overall, it is clear that the critical point is 2013 for both sexes. After that time, the number of books read by men shows increasing trend, whereas the number of books read by women is dramatically declining.
In 2011, the number of books read by women and men was about 5000 and 3000, respectively. It can be seen that there was a rapid rise for both genders from 2011 to 2013. By 2013, women reached their ultimate point at approximately 9000, and that year men also read the same number of books as women.
In the year 2014, the highest number of books read by men in 2014, at about 14000. On the other hand, women started to read fewer books than men. In total, it is possible to claim that men read more books than women in that given period.

The graph shows the number of books read by men and women in the Burnaby Public Library during the four years of 2011 to 2014.
In 2011 , the interest of men in reading was far below that of women. Men read about 3000 books while the women read over 4000 books.
By 2012, even though the number of books read by men increased to about 4000, the women had increased their reading desire and read more than double of what they did the previous year by reading about 8500 books.
The interest of men and women in reading was almost at par in 2013 as both partied read about 10,000 books that year.
However, in 2014 there was a sharp decline in the number of books read by women. A lot of factors could have been responsible for this, but the men developed better interest in reading and had close to 14,000 books read. I t was disappointing to see that women read only about 8,000 books,

The bar graph elucidates the total number of books read by men and women between 2011 and 2014 at Burnaby Public library.
Overall, it is manifest from the graph that the number of books read by men increased gradually, whereas the women’s graphs declined at the end.
Moving on to analyze the data further, in the year 2011, the number of books read by women is higher compared to men. Women read around 6000 books, while men read only 3500 books. Coming to 2012, men’s graph increased slightly to 4000 books and reached to peak in 2013 to 10000 books where both men and women read an equal number of books. In the final year, the number of books read by men reached a vertex of about 14000 books which was the highest throughout the period.
Coming to women’s book reading, they started with nearly 6000 books in 2011 and increased to 8000 books in the year 2012. In the following year, women read 10000 books as of equal to men. But it suddenly dropped to 8000 books same as like of 2012.

The graph displays number of books read by both men and women at the Burnaby Public Library from 2011 to 2014.
Overall, number of books read increased for both men and women from 2011 till 2013 although women experienced a decrease in number of books read throughout 2013 and 2014.
To begin, in 2011 till 2012 both genders had an increased number of books read with varying amounts of 2000 rise for women which is double the amount read by men. It is noted that number of books read by men increased sharply from 4000 to 10000 between 2012 and 2013 with regard to a less inclination of 8000 to 10000 number of books read by women.
In 2013, men and women reached the same number of books read but the number of books read by women decreased by 2000 book from 10000 to 8000 during the years 2013 and 2014, and it increased by 4000 book from 10000 to 14000 by men.
