Nowadays many business meetings and training are happening online and not in real offices. Do you think advantages outweigh the disadvantages in this matter?

Today most companies are conducting business over the internet, and not in office spaces. I support the notion that although there are some disadvantages of not being able to speak directly to customers, or test items in person, the rewards of saving money and creating a cosy working environment certainly exceeds the drawbacks.

Firstly, due to recent Covid 19 pandemic most business are now operating in virtual space. This allows customers to purchase goods and services over the internet without going to the business in person. As a result, the need to go into a shop to purchase a backpack has been eliminated: one can simply order the bag online, and get the goods delivered at their front door. Furthermore, this allows the business to cease incurring costs from renting commercial spaces and customers to save money and time to commute to a particular business establishment. The end result is certainly beneficial to both sides, and the little downside that one cannot try or test the item beforehand is insignificant since most companies are now offering refunds, if there is no customer satisfaction.

Secondly, from a standpoint of a business which used to employ workers and require business attire in a sort of stringent business office like environment, the new trend permits employees to still be employed, but work from home, in a causal and cosy environment. Certainly, this presents a dual reward, one is, it makes it much more enjoyable to work from home in a t-shirt versus dry cleaning suites which is exorbitant and unpleasant. The other positive, is that working individuals can now cook at home instead of attending fast food places while on lunch break in the office building. However, there is a very slight negative here which relates to not being able to face the customer face-to-face; nonetheless, given the fact the employees prefer working from home has definitely created a satisfied working atmosphere, which in the long run proves to be the determinant for a business to succeed.

In conclusion, even though there are some minuscule disadvantages such as lack personal contact and not being able to test out goods beforehand, the benefits to employees and their employers prove cardinal resulting in cost effectiveness and a congenial business environment.
