The table compares the related data regarding railway roads in four different countries ( Malaysia, Canada, China, and UAE) in the year 2007.

Overall, it is clear that China had the greatest number of passengers and kilometers per head of population at 27 and 1980, respectively in 2007.

Canada was the biggest cargo carrier in comparison with other countries’ data. On the other hand, the percentage of people using railway transportation was less than 1 in Canada which was the lowest degree among the others in a given period of time.

Interestingly, the data in Malaysia and UAE had slightly different from each other in all of the three categories. The percentage of people using railway transportation was approximately at the same level, 5.9 and 5.5. In a similar vein, both countries carried almost the same number of tones, 22.2 and 21.9, and had nearly the same kilometers of passengers, 770 and 780 respectively, by 2007. It can be said that Malaysia and UAE shared almost similar percentages regarding railway transportation.
