Although some believe that there should be a set of rules to seriously control noise levels, others argue that people are free to make noise. In my opinion, I consider noise levels should be taken under control because it ensures convenience and quiet environment for people.

On the one hand some think that there should be some control for noise levels should be observed and I agree. Because some people are causing inconvenience by making excessive noise and this negatively affect the quality of life in residential areas. For example, one of our neighbors put TV on a higher volume during the night times and people start to complain as a result. Furthermore, high noise levels can negatively impact our nervous system which later may cause severe health conditions.

On the other hand, some people believe that people can make noise as they prefer. In other words, people will be able to freely enjoy their leisure time. For example, some families contain children and in the process of playing they make noise which should be considered normal and making them to stay quiet may negatively affect their growth. Another point to consider is that some people like to enjoy their free time by listening music or watching movies. However, these activities are best experienced in high volumes and it is certainly the essence of quality.

In conclusion, while there are varying views on noise, I tend to believe that noise levels should be taken under serious control because it will have a positive impact on peoples’ lives.
