can you correct the essay please?

It is observed that in many countries not enough students are choosing to study science subject. What are causes? And what will be effects on society?

The universities and schools have encountered that the number of students, who choose a science stream for their future studies, has dropped by a large percentage. This essay discusses the causes of this problem. The enormouse work lord and the cost of education for scientific subjects are the major causes, and the essay will state the consequences of this trend as well.
Having a huge syllabus for subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology is one of the contributing factors for the lack of interest in this stream. These subjects need more dedication by the learners to study the vast theoretical knowledge as well as the practical knowledge. As the facts and theories are upgrading regularly, they should be working hard to be up to date, which results in students become uninterested in science subjects. For example the university of New York has found by a sarvey, that 82% of students in their university has chosen other streams over science due to the fear of high lord of work.
High expenses in following scientific subjects is another reason for this dislike. Those modules require lot of reading and experimenting, which costs a lot. As a result, students choose less expensive subjects. An annual fee of $60,000 and $10,000 for an Engineering degree and a social science degree respectively, in University of Oxford is a good illustration.
However, the consequences of this issue is adverse. Technological development will get stagnant, if the trend continues to grow. Furthermore, scientific solutions for natural and unnatural disasters will not be available. The reason for delayed solutions for climate changes is the lack of experimenters in environmental engineering.
It is discussed that the unbearable work lord and the expenses in learning science subjects are courses the lack of the interest and can result in dangerous impacts in the future.
