Sample Answer
Nowadays, it is quite common in sports like rugby and football to involve violent contact between players, which leads to injury. Other sports, like boxing and wrestling, in particular, have the deliberate intention of hurting the opponent. It is highly debatable whether this is acceptable in modern society when at all other times we try to emphasise co-operation and team spirit, training people not to be aggressive and not to resort to violence when in conflict with others. However, I don’t completely agree with the fact that they should be banned. I will explain the same in the upcoming paragraphs.
It should be borne in mind that cruelty is inherent in society and banning violent sports like boxing will not alter this. On the contrary, institutionalising and controlling violence in boxing clubs can help change this. Boys, who would otherwise be part of street riots can be taught to direct their energies positively. In turn, they can be trained to be better members of society. Besides, organised sports follow elaborate rules, and medical facilities are always on hand; so, no one should be seriously hurt in a fair and peaceful game.
Moreover, even combat sports offer advantages to the society in several ways. It is an appropriate way of enhancing the health of the community if people exercise rigorously. And then, such sports can also be used as a defending mechanism in several dangerous circumstances. While women can use it against molesters, men can use it to protect themselves from burglars. Also, by putting taxes on the sports industry, the government can easily acquire money for social causes.
While there are advantages, it should not be overlooked that dangerous sports like boxing and wrestling, even in a controlled and institutionalised form, are highly disturbing.
In conclusion, the prohibition of violent sports is not necessary for the well being of society. Controlling the violence and imposing stricter rules would help better. At the end of the day, everything can make a place in the society if done in a civilized and limited manner.

It is a concern that a modern community should impose a ban on aggression based sports like boxing and wrestling.
I also agree, because what I believe is having a variety of form of sports why should someone should look forward to such harmful sports.
On the one hand we have a batch of people who takes these as a good form of sports and do not want to be banned. Firstly, these sports bring in good revenue which has positive impact on economy. Secondly, it is interesting to watch at least for a niche number of audiences. They regularly follows and crave for their favourite players. Thirdly, athelets like boxers upholds their home country in the global eyesight. They get good reach of audiences who looks forward to him. He could come from a very small tribe who are neglected in a small corner of an under developing country. But these games are what provides them a platform to make them visible to the outer world. Finally , what I can say is the outreach and economical benefit could be the major reason people like these sports to be around.
On the other hand, no matter what I cannot agree to keep aggressive games to be a form of entertainment. For me games should be fun for the audience and as well as the participants. The difficulty level could be hardened, but harming each other can never be or should be called sports. Games like MMAs each year get so much hype. What I think is watching these games people like to think of themselves to be superior in some way. Which is indicates psychological disorder. The sports which bring blood and watching that if that brings you joy, do you think this could be something normal? I do not.
To conclude, blood-shedding or hurting cannot be a game of a civilised society, hence banning these games would be a sensible job.

Overall Band : 4
The answer is tangential, possibly due to some misunderstanding of the question. The question clearly ask if the user agrees or disagrees and is not related to the discussion of both view points as answered by the user. More grammatical structures are required to obtain good bands.
