Making comparisons is the key to scoring a band 8+ in the IELTS Academic Writing Task 1!
Look for similar data points to compare, like sales in different months!
For instance, notice if sales of electronics and clothing go up and down together in a table and compare them!
Use words like "more," "less," "higher," or "lower" to explain differences clearly.
For example, Say "Sales went down a lot" instead of using complex phrases.
Practice writing sentences that compare different parts of the data for better analysis.
