To accommodate temporary foreign workers and international students and fix the immigration gaps of the past years, Canada is preparing an accelerated program.
Immigration Minister Sean Fraser informed the new program meant to be a permanent pathway for temporary residents.
Although it will be similar to the Temporary Residence to Permanent Residence (TR2PR) program, there will be changes.
The planning is in process and more details of the new program are expected to be available by September 8.
Besides this, Canada has already resumed inviting immigrants through the FSWP and CEC candidates to apply for permanent residence this July.
