Ways to increase CRS score

After submitting your online profile, if you find that your CRS score is less than the average, you have to plan to claim extra points.

Since the ultimate score is 1200 and the average cutoff is between 430-810, you boost your chances by availing PN worth 600 CRS points.

Before applying for PR, you have to take an approved language test & earn a high score corresponding to the Canadian Language Benchmark.

You need a written offer from the employer for a full-time, continuous paid job for at least 1 year. It adds up to 200 CRS points to the score.

Having a sibling through blood, adoption, marriage or common-law partnership, who is a citizen or has PR, you can claim an extra 15 points.

If you plan to move to Canada with your spouse or common-law partner, it is best to apply together. This way, you can boost your CRS score.
