In the IELTS listening practice test, there are 40 questions of different types ranging from sentence completion, map labelling to multiple choice questions. It is important to attempt a test such as this to increase your exam preparedness.
If you’re taking the listening test, you should be aware of concepts such as signposting and techniques such as distraction. Even if you have mastered them yet, try practising them on a daily basis for a good score in your IELTS exam.
IELTS Listening Practice Test 1
In Listening Test 1, you will hear 4 audio recordings and answer questions 1-40 based on them.
Section 1 is a conversation between a housing agent and a student who wants to rent a house.
Section 2 is a monologue about a waste collection in Biltmore.
Section 3 is a conversation between students about a new essay professor has assigned.
Section 4 is a lecture on Environmental Science.
