5 Must Complete IELTS Listening Practice Tests
If you’re taking the listening test, you should be aware of concepts such as what is signposting and techniques such as distraction. Even if you have mastered them yet, try practising them on a daily basis for a good score in your IELTS Listening exam.
The audio in the IELTS listening practice test 2 has 4 parts of varying English accents ranging from British to Australian. If you’re not used to them, it is good to take this test and familiarize yourself with the different tones and intonations. This will lend you a hand in the actual test.
In IELTS Listening Test 2, you will hear 4 audio recordings and answer questions 1-40. You will have time to check your answers.
- Section 1 is a conversation between an agent from City house services and a customer who wants to have her house cleaned.
- Section 2 is a monologue by a security worker from Sydney airport, introducing the day to day operations of Australian quarantine services.
- Section 3 is a conversation between a librarian and a student explaining how to use the facilities in the library.
- Section 4 is a lecture about crocodiles’ notices and it’s living habits.
