Alberta Express Entry Program | This program is for foreign nationals who want to reside in Alberta and contribute to the province’s economy while maintaining strong ties to the province. This program is also open to international graduates who have graduated from one of Canada’s universities or institutions.
To be considered for this program, candidates must fulfill the Express Entry program’s requirements. |
Alberta Opportunity Program | Foreign employees who have received a full-time employment offer letter from a business in Alberta and/or are currently residing in the province and willing to become permanent residents.
Candidates must be willing to contribute to the economy’s growth. In order to be qualified to apply under this stream, applicants must not be on the list of ineligible occupations. |
Alberta International Graduate Entrepreneur Program | It permits foreign national postgraduate students with a work visa and at least 6 months of business work experience as well as a qualification from an Alberta institution or university to create or purchase an existing business in the province. |
Alberta Foreign Graduate Start-up Visa program | This program is for foreign graduates who want to start a company in Alberta and stay in the province permanently.
Applicants must collaborate with a recognized agency to get a letter of reference, which must be provided to the province with the Expression of Interest (EOI). |
Alberta Self Employed Farmer Program | This program permits skilled agricultural entrepreneurs to move to Canada and get permanent residency. It is overseen by both the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program and the Alberta Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and applicants must adhere to both organizations’ standards and regulations. |
Alberta Employment Driven Program | It is introduced for skilled foreign workers who have a valid offer letter from an employer located in Alberta. (Note: This program has been terminated since June 2018.) |
