How is PNP different from the AINP program?

The Alberta Provincial Nominee Program, commonly known as the Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP), is similar to the PNP systems in each of Canada’s 13 provinces. This program allows the Alberta government to nominate people with the necessary abilities, job experience, education, and other qualifications to work and settle in the province.

PROGRAM	PURPOSE	REQUIREMENT
Alberta Express Entry Program	It is for those who have the necessary abilities, expertise, and strong links to Alberta and want to contribute to the province’s rising economy.	Should meet the standards of the Express Entry program. The principal employment of applicants should contribute to Alberta’s rising economy. Must have a valid job offer. Should be graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institute or equivalent. Candidates are required to score at least 7 NCLC/CLB on a French or English language test. Must demonstrate proof of settlement funds.
Alberta Opportunity Program	This program is for individuals who are currently working as temporary foreign workers in the province and have received a full-time employment offer from the province and wish to become permanent residents of the province.	Candidates must have a valid full-time job offer from an employer situated in the province of Alberta. Should have a positive LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). A valid work permit is required. Must have the required work experience in the field they are applying under immigration. Applicants who belong to NOC Skill category 0, A or B must demonstrate French/English language skills with an NCLC/CLB score of 5 or higher. Applicants who belong to NOC Skill category C or D are required to demonstrate French/English language skills with an NCLC/CLB score of 4 or above. Required to comply with the education level requirements.
Alberta International Graduate Entrepreneur Program	It is intended for overseas graduates who have finished their post-secondary education in Alberta and wish to start or manage a business in the province. Also, you must be willing to make a long-term commitment to the province.	Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of full-time degree or diploma from a university or college located in Alberta. Should have a valid Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). A CLB/NCLC score of 7 or above is required to indicate French/English language competency. Must have been actively managing or running a firm for at least 6 months. Besides the requirements given above, candidates must possess 34% of shares of a new or existing firm in the province.
Alberta Foreign Graduate Start-up Visa Program	It is launched for qualified foreign graduates who want to start their own businesses in the province of Alberta.	Applicants must have at least 6 months of experience and actively manage and own the business. A two-year degree from a post-secondary institute or university outside of Canada is required. Candidates must demonstrate their business plans. Applicants are required to present a 10 minutes presentation demonstrating a business venture – an outline. Candidates are required to score at least 7 NCLC/CLB on a French or English language test. Must have a minimum of 34% ownership if the business is located in an urban centre or a minimum of 51% ownership. (if located in a regional area outside Calgary and Edmonton.) Candidates must demonstrate that they have adequate funds.
Alberta Self-Employment Farmer Program	This stream is for entrepreneurs who have the financial resources and farm management expertise to build a new farm or purchase an existing one in Alberta.	Candidates must demonstrate that they are capable of managing a farm. Also, must have at least 1,000,000 Canadian dollars as funds. (500,000 as investment funds and the rest 500,000 Canadian dollars as their net worth.) Managerial experience with an existing agricultural business is required. To establish and operate a prosperous agricultural enterprise in Alberta, you must have the necessary education and work experience. A business strategy for the province’s upcoming agricultural venture.
Alberta Employment Driven Stream	It is designed for skilled foreign employees who have received a valid offer letter from an Alberta firm. The Skilled Worker Program is another name for it. (Please note that this program has been discontinued since June 2018. The immigration authorities have not mentioned why this program has been suspended.)	Applicants must be willing to settle in the province permanently. Should have a valid job offer. Only those with vocations classified as NOC Skill 0, A, or B are eligible to apply. A valid work permit is required of all applicants. Applicants must have the appropriate job experience.

What is the procedure for applying for the AINP Canada immigration?

In order to immigrate to Alberta, applicants are required to select the program which better suits their requirements and eligibility criteria. After you’ve decided on a program, you’ll need to gather all of the required papers before filling out the application form. You will get an invitation to apply for Alberta Canada Permanent Residence if your application is accepted.
