PROGRAM	PURPOSE	REQUIREMENT
British Columbia Express Entry program	It is for anyone with the relevant skills, knowledge, and desire to contribute to the province’s growing economy. It is one of the fastest methods to enter British Columbia.	Should fulfil the Express Entry program’s requirements. Work experience of at least two years is required. On a French or English language test, candidates must have a score of at least 7 NCLC/CLB. Must demonstrate proof of settlement funds. (Note: All the requirements for the various programs listed below Express Entry are identical to the skilled immigrantion program. However, if applicants intend to apply through the Express Entry program, it is mandatory to fulfil the Express Entry program requirements.)
British Columbia Skilled Worker program via Skilled Immigration stream	It is for highly qualified, skilled workers who want to work and gain permanent residence in British Columbia.	Must have a job offer in NOC Skill Type 0, A or B. Should have a valid offer letter. Must demonstrate their English or French language proficiency with the required CLB/NCLC score. A minimum of two years of work experience is required. Settlement funds proof.
British Columbia Healthcare professionals program via Skilled Immigration stream	This program is designed for physicians, registered nurses, and anybody with healthcare experience who wants to relocate to British Columbia.	A full-time offer letter must have been secured. Have at least two years of experience in the field. Required to demonstrate settlement funds. Must demonstrate their English or French language proficiency with the required CLB/NCLC score.
British Columbia International Graduate program via Skilled Immigration stream	It is for students who have graduated from a Canadian university and seek to become permanent residents of the province.	A valid full-time offer letter. Proof of settlement funds. Must have completed a degree/diploma or certificate from a secondary institute in Canada within the last 3 years of applying. Individuals belonging to NOC Skill Type B must exhibit English/French language abilities with a minimum CLB/NCLC score.
British Columbia International Post-graduate program via Skilled Immigration stream	Students who have acquired a Master’s or Doctoral degree from a British Columbia university and want to work and live in the province indefinitely.	Must have completed a master’s or doctoral degree from a secondary institute in Canada within the last 3 years of applying. A valid offer letter.
British Columbia Entry-level and Semi-skilled Worker program via Skilled Immigration stream	This program is for individuals interested in settling in the province and working in industries such as tourism/hospitality, long-haul transportation, or food processing.	Must have acquired a valid offer letter from a British Columbia employer. Candidates must belong to NOC Skill Level C or D only. A minimum of 9 months of work experience is required. Must demonstrate their English or French language proficiency with the required CLB/NCLC score. Required to comply with education level requirements. Required to demonstrate proof of settlement funds.
British Columbia Entrepreneur Program	It is for entrepreneurs who wish to set up their business in British Columbia.	Entrepreneurs should have a personal net worth of at least 600,000 Canadian dollars. Should invest 200,000 Canadian dollars in existing or new ventures in the province. At least one job opportunity should be created. Must demonstrate their English or French language proficiency with the CLB/NCLC score of 4 or higher. Should have the necessary business management expertise.
British Columbia Regional Entrepreneur Program	This is for investors wishing to start a new business in the regional communities across the province.	To be eligible, applicants must have a net worth of 300,000 Canadian dollars. The entrepreneur should make a minimum investment of $100,000. Must own 51% of the share of the company. Must demonstrate their English or French language proficiency with the CLB/NCLC score of 4 or higher. At least one full-time work opportunity should be created.
Strategic Projects Program	It is intended for foreign employees who desire to establish their running business in British Columbia. This program permits the company to nominate and transfer its five foreign employees. However, these 5 members must be highly qualified senior employees.	A minimum investment of 500,000 Canadian dollars should be demonstrated. Create at least three new positions for Canadian citizens or permanent residents for each foreign critical staff member proposed (to a maximum of five key staff). Start a business or buy an existing one and expand it in BC.
Regional Business Succession Program	It’s for those who want to acquire and run a business already up and operating in British Columbia. This program is only applicable if the firm is located outside the Vancouver and Abbotsford regions.	Entrepreneurs must own 51% of the share of the business. Applicants are required to demonstrate their French or English language skills with NCLC/CLB 4 or higher. Before enrolling on the program, applicants should have visited the province to learn more about the business opportunities. Applicants must have a post-secondary level of education. If you’re a business owner, you should have at least 3 years of experience, 4 years if you’re in senior management positions, or 1 year if you’re a business owner-manager. A minimum investment of 3,00,000 Canadian dollars is required. Applicants must also sign a performance agreement.
