Located in the easternmost part of Canada, this province consists of Labrador and the island of Newfoundland. Initially, it was a colony and later became a dominion of the United Kingdom. One must score a minimum of 67 points out of 100 on the PNP point assessment grid. One must have a Work Permit issued by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada with at least 4 months remaining at the time of application. One should have a Canadian post-secondary degree/ diploma or a foreign qualification with an approved Educational Credential Assessment. One must have sufficient settlement funds or financial resources. One must provide language test results matching the level declared in the Express Entry profile (For English, the proficiency score should be at least CLB 7 and for French, it should be a minimum NCLC 7).
Skilled Worker Category	Skilled labour with an employment offer from a provincial employer or who are already working under provincial employer with a valid work permit can apply under this program.	One must have the qualifications, training, skills, and accreditation required for the job. One should have sufficient settlement funds and financial resources to successfully establish oneself and/or any dependents. One should have sufficient English or French language capability to perform employment duties.
International Graduate Category	For this program, the graduate students who can apply need to have either a job and valid post-graduate work permit (with at least 4 months of validity remaining) or an employment offer from a provincial employer in NOC 0, A or B, or in an NOC C occupation on the In-Demand Occupation list.	The person should be 21 to 59 years old. One must have sufficient settlement funds. Demonstrate English or French language capabilities to perform the employment duties.Candidates should fulfil the minimum language requirement (language test results equivalent to CLB level 4) for all in-demand occupations. If the applicant has an ownership stake in a business in which they are employed, that stake should not exceed 10%.
International Graduate Entrepreneur Category	To apply under this program, the person has to be an international graduate who has studied either in Memorial University in Newfoundland or College of the North Atlantic.	The applicant should be at least 21 years of age. One should provide a business plan with verified supporting financial documents and have a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit. One should have continuous business experience (33.3 per cent minimum ownership) for at least a year. One should score at least CLB 7 in English or French. One must complete an online Expression of Interest and receive an Invitation to Apply from the Newfoundland & Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism.
International Entrepreneur Category	People who have worked as Senior Managers or who are business owners and want to establish their business and live in the province can apply for this program.	The person should be 21 to 59 years old. One must have a minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent. One must have at least $600,000 in unencumbered net business and personal assets and should be able to invest at least $200,000 to establish a business in the province with minimum ownership of 33.3 %. One should have an experience in managing and owning a business with a minimum ownership of 25 per cent for at least two years’ experience. One must score at least 5 CLB in English or French. One should complete an online Expression of Interest (EOI) and receive an Invitation to Apply from the Newfoundland & Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism.
Atlantic Immigration Pilot	The Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) was launched in 2017. It is a three-year immigration program that is ideal for those who are new to the area and have received employment offers from the Atlantic region.	There are three programs under the AIP – Atlantic International Graduate Program, Atlantic High-Skilled Program and Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program. Here are some general requirements for the three pilot programs: One must have at least a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent education or a degree, diploma or other credential from a publicly funded institution in an Atlantic province. One should have worked in a management, professional or technical/skilled job for at least a year. One must take a language test to show that they can communicate in English or French. One needs to provide proof of funds to show that he/she can support them and the accompanying family.
Priority Skills NL	The Priority Skills Newfoundland and Labrador is a new immigration program. It aims to attract highly educated and skilled immigrants with specialized experience in areas like technology and ocean sciences occupations.	The applicant should be at least 21 years of age. Applicants must complete an Expression of Interest. One should have at least one year of experience in the last 10 years in one of Newfoundland and Labrador’s in-demand occupations. One should have a PhD or Master’s from Memorial University within the past three years in Technology, Health Care, Aquaculture or Agriculture. One should achieve CLB level 5 or higher in English. Language tests like IELTS or CELPIP must have been taken within the last year.
