There are a total of 13 provinces in Canada. Each province in Canada contributes significantly to the country’s economic development. All these provinces in Canada have their own immigration program known as the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Each province contains its own distinct protocols for nominating candidates to their province.
Hence, if you are considering Ontario immigration but are baffled about the process, then you must know that you can directly apply for the OINP program.
What is processing time?
The processing time is only an estimate offered by IRCC to applicants in order to let them know how long it will take to complete their applications under normal conditions. However, there are a variety of elements that might impact and lengthen the application’s processing time. It’s possible that the delay might be caused by the method that you choose to fill your application and the present number of pending applications that are waiting to be processed.
If you submitted your application in person or through courier, the processing time begins when authorities receive your application. The period begins when your application arrives in the mailroom if you applied online.

How is OINP processing time calculated?
Every month, the province of Ontario holds an OINP draw. The processing time for the OINP is determined in the same way as the processing time for all other PNP programs is calculated. The processing time is calculated primarily from the time your application is filed to the time a final decision is reached on it. Each application takes a different amount of time to process. Because these are estimates, they may vary as a result of unforeseen situations.
What types of documents are required to apply for the Ontario Immigration Program?
Notification of Interest from Ontario, identity papers, ECA, language test reports, employment reference letters, evidence of settlement funds, documents of accompanying family members, and other appropriate documents may be required depending on the type of program for which you are applying.
