Saskatchewan is known for its natural beauty and aesthetic appeal. The rising economy and diverse society ensure that immigrants feel more welcome. It is a desirable place to live for immigrants because of its high employment rate, diversified community life, and inexpensive housing.
The economy of the province is primarily based on the agriculture sector, manufacturing and production. Apart from these industries, the service sector contributes to the creation of a wide range of job opportunities.
What is exactly the Saskatchewan PNP draw?
The Saskatchewan PNP draw is a cut-off procedure in which candidates are invited and considered for PR based on their qualifications. Applicants must meet the point-based requirements and submit an Expression of Interest in order to be considered for the PNP pool system.
What is Expression of Interest (EOI) in SINP?
The SINP Expression of Interest is not an application form; rather, it is a letter that you must submit to Saskatchewan to prove that you are interested in settling in the province. The submission of an EOI does not ensure that you will be invited to apply. Only those who are shortlisted in the pooling system will be given an ITA to apply for PR.
How are EOI Candidates Ranked?
Those who fill out an Expression of Interest are provided with an automated score based on a variety of factors. The Expression of Interest selection procedure for the SINP involves a set of steps, starting with selecting individuals with the highest point scores. Further selection criteria are employed if there are too many applications with the same point score under the EOI Draw. Candidates with ties to Saskatchewan will be given more priority among those with equal scores. This includes persons who have a close relative in Saskatchewan or have worked in Saskatchewan in the past, or have studied in Saskatchewan in the past. Following that, applications with the right job experience and high language scores will be prioritized.
How many nomination certificates are issued by Saskatchewan?
IRCC, through the PNP program, has permitted each province to nominate candidates for immigrating to their own province. Each province, however, is allowed only a fixed amount of nominations. Saskatchewan is allowed a total of 10,000 nominations every year.
In the year 2019, approximately 9,000 nominations were issued to applicants. Only candidates who meet the qualifying conditions are eligible for these nomination certificates.
