- Score 5 or higher CLB/NCLC in French or English language tests.

- Fulfill other prerequisites for the Express Entry program.
Atlantic Intermediate Skilled Program under Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
OBJECTIVE
AIPP is a partnership program between the Government of Canada and Atlantic provinces. Therefore, the AIPP intermediate skilled worker program is for skilled people who have finished secondary education and have an intermediate employment offer, and are willing to reside in NL province.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must possess the following requirements:
- Basic secondary schooling.
- One year of intermediate skill experience.
- A job offer.
- Comply with age requirements.
- Under the French/English language requirement part, obtain an NCLC/CLB 4 or above.
Atlantic High Skilled Program under Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
OBJECTIVE
AIPP has developed a program category for highly skilled workers, as it did for intermediate skilled workers. The AIPP highly skilled worker program enables highly trained employees to get employment and PR status in the Newfoundland and Labrador region.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for this program, candidates should have:
- Secondary education at its most basic level.
- One year of experience as a highly-skilled worker.
- An employment offer in a high-skilled sector for at least one year.
- Under the French/English language requirement part, obtain an NCLC/CLB 4 or higher.
Newfoundland and Labrador Priority Skilled Worker Program
OBJECTIVE
Newfoundland and Labrador’s immigration officials have introduced a new Priority skilled worker category for highly skilled employees with a high level of education and language proficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates who want to come to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador under this program must possess the following qualifications:
- One year of full-time work experience gained within the last 10 years.
- Within the previous three years, you must have achieved a Ph.D. or Master’s degree from Memorial University.
- Should be a specialist in the fields of technology, healthcare, agriculture, or aquaculture.
- Candidates above the age of 21 will be given priority.
- Acquire NCLC/CLB score 5 or higher in French/English language test.
Newfoundland and Labrador Skilled Worker Program
OBJECTIVE
This program is for skilled workers who have previously been working in the province on a valid work permit and now intend to permanently settle in the province.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates who wish to apply through this program must obtain:
- A letter of employment from a corporation established in the province.
- A valid work permit.
- Work experience in the field in which the candidate wants to work is necessary.
- Proof of settlement funds.
- It is necessary to be fluent in either French or English. (There are different language requirements for each NOC 0, A, B, C, and D vocations.)
How to apply for Newfoundland and Labrador skilled worker programs?
Eligible individuals must complete an application for the stream in which they desire to apply. The province of Newfoundland and Labrador will nominate successful applicants. A nominated applicant has six months to make a federal application for permanent residence.
