Talk About Something You Enjoyed Doing In A Group - Sample Answer 1
- What was it?
For most of my life, I have been a solo player, as I am an introvert. But there have been a few rare situations when I enjoyed working in a group. One of my memorable experiences was during my senior year in college when we were asked to complete a film project.
- With whom you did it?
- When you did it?
We had to work in small groups to come up with an idea and make a short five-minute film to explore it. Everyone was in high spirits and eager to show off their creativity. I was very lucky because my group was full of talented people with different skill sets. We had a dancer, an artist and even someone who knew how to play the tabla! I took over the writing part of the project and came up with the setting and dialogues. My teammates really backed me in polishing the final draft of the script with their own contributions and constructive criticism. After this, we distributed the roles between us and took turns filming the scenes one by one. This way, everyone got the chance to act as well as direct it. Finally, the footage was put together and we added some artistic effects to give a dream-like look to the short film.
- How did you feel about it?
We were all immensely proud of all our hard work. When we showed it to our class, the teacher was amazed by the film and we received an A grade!

Talk About Something You Enjoyed Doing In A Group - Sample Answer 2
- What was it?
Despite being a part of this Google-dependent generation, I admit that I have a bad sense of direction. That is the reason I rarely travel alone. So, when I am worn out of protracted working days and desperately need a getaway, I drag some of the closest friends and go on a trip.
- With whom you did it?
- When you did it?
And so it happened that last Friday, post wrapping up my meetings and work sessions, I took a backup, called friends, and began a voyage to discover myself. Together, we went through a friend’s car but parked it in a parking lot of a lodge situated in a remote area.
Thereafter, we took the foot trail and started our journey. We went deep inside the forest, covered with humongous trees and shrubs. Accordingly, there were a handful of wild animals habituated in the forest, but regrettably, we didn’t get to see any.
While our days were reserved for trekking, selfie-sessions, and gobbling down organically grown fruits, our nights were all about camping and stargazing expeditions. Sharing how I felt would be quite overwhelming as I believe that I belong on the road.
Travelling to quaint places, exploring, and being surrounded by nature fills me up with a strange sense of harmony and tranquillity. Waking up at 5 AM, I went a tad bit away from my friends to spend some time with myself, meditating, brainstorming, and trying to find a purpose.
- How did you feel about it?
Together, we created treasuring memories that will always be relished in the deepest corners of my heart.
Talk About Something You Enjoyed Doing In A Group - Sample Answer 3
A group activity that I truly enjoyed was preparing and performing a short play during our school cultural festival. I did this with five of my close friends, all of whom shared a passion for acting and performing arts.
We worked on the project about three months ago, dedicating several evenings to rehearsals, designing props, and perfecting our dialogues. Each member had a specific role, and we supported each other throughout the preparation process.
During the performance, I felt a mix of excitement and pride. The audience’s positive response and applause made all our hard work worthwhile. Collaborating with my friends not only improved my confidence but also taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and creative cooperation. It was a truly enjoyable experience that left a lasting impression on me.
