Nowadays, the power of advertising is driving the sale of popular goods rather than the actual demand of such products by the consumers. Considering the wide reach of advertising, I totally agree with this statement.
Most of the business houses spend considerable amount of money on advertising their products. They use various modes of advertising, including, but not limited to, newspapers, television, internet, movie halls etc. This, in turn, helps business to popularize their products because most of the consumers have access to internet, television and newspaper where these products are advertised. For example, whenever people are watching a video on YouTube or listening to songs on any music application, such videos and songs are interrupted by advertisements. In addition to this, one cannot scroll through social media like Facebook or Instagram without coming across a couple of advertisements from shopping websites or any eateries around them. Moreover, the traditional form of advertisement i.e. television and newspaper advertisements are still circulating as always. Therefore, when consumers encounter such advertisements on a regular basis, they become curious to know more about the product and hence all of these advertisements help to create demand for the products which may not be actually needed by the customers.
As discussed above, there are many factors which lead to the demand of consumer goods by marketing efforts of the companies rather than the actual need of the company. To begin with, the businesses hire popular and influential celebrities to advertise their goods, and thus, such products seem more attractive to people. For instance, Lux soap hired Aishwarya Rai Bachhan to market their soap which motivated women to purchase that soap as well. Additionally, companies generally advertise various types of discounts or gifts along with the bulk purchase of the products, such as 20% discount on purchase of 3 products or free noodles with the purchase of 2 kg tea, and therefore, people buy the product to avail such gifts even when they do not need to bulk purchase a product. Therefore, people end up buying the goods they do not actually require.
While advertising creates false demand of the products, the benefits of advertising cannot be ignored. It helps in educating the consumers about the various kinds of products which are available in the market. It also helps in communicating the usage and benefits of the advertised products. Without it, the consumers may never know the different kinds and varieties of the same product available in the market which may hinder them in making an informed decision. However, the advertisements should be regulated so that corporate business houses can be stopped from creating false demand of the products which results in wastage of money and creation of waste of consumer goods as people generally throw away their old goods in order to get a new one.
In conclusion, the development of various modes of advertising and wide reaches of such modes because of availability of electronic devices with an internet connection with most of the people has made it easier for businesses to popularize their products. However, this demand is not always correlated to the actual need of the consumers owing to celebrities influence and marketing offers.

Nowadays, the high sales of popular products shows the strength of advertising and not the need of the consumers. This essay agrees with this statement because advertising using influencers prompts people to purchase the products and advertising manipulates people to purchase goods that have registered in their subconscious.

Influencer advertising causes people to buy goods that they might not be in need of. Using celebrities from the sports or entertainment industry to market a product will persuade a lot of their fans and admirers to buy that product in order to support the celebrity or to emulate the supposed product they are using. For instance, captain America was signed as the ambassador of tecno mobile phone and under 24 hours of the release of his featured commercial, tecno sold out in almost 10 cities in the United States.

Also, Advertising helps to register products in people’s subconscious which will prompt them to purchase those products even though they might not be in dire need of it. Companies that are social media savvy and advertise their product on the various social media platforms like Instagram or YouTube has most of the users become very familiar with their goods as the adverts pop up at different intervals while people are using these platforms. This would in turn influence the consumer to purchase those products when they come across them at a store. For instance, I once bought a pair of sneakers from jumia after running into the commercial on Instagram for almost 5 consecutive days.

In conclusion, I agree that the power of advertising can influence the high sales of goods because consumers can purchase goods that their celebrity idols have advertised and also, constantly bumping into an advert of a product can manipulate one into buying them.

Please help me asses this. Thanks a lot lot lot in advance 🙂

In my opinion, advertising plays a vital role in deciding the high revenue of a company; however, this isn’t the significant fact which can dominate over the point of actual needs of the society. We are aware that the most vital asset in the upcoming date is data, and the primary sectors that will be trading with them are the advertising sectors; this can help us overview advertising industries’ potential and how advertising has become an important sector to deal with.

Nowadays, there is no doubt that the advertising industry has grown its roots very deep in consumers’ minds. But I consider that an internal instinct mainly caused when the consumer notices perfect compatibility for his needy voids plays a significant role in deciding whether to buy it or not.

A well-known example can be taken by a company that has strongly proved this fact, a brand known as “Tesla.” Keeping in mind the needs of Eco-friendliness and economic conditions, their electric cars have made a big name and brand in this industry. The point to notice is about their sales strategy. They mainly claim towards the quality and requirement based on their consumers and show complete reluctance towards advertisement.

I agree with the point that advertisement plays an important factor, but the primary purpose of promotion is to increase the reach and show the features of their products to the consumer; however, nowadays, advertisement is more inclined in forcing the consumer directly or indirectly to buy their products. Seeing the after results and consumers satisfaction also comes under strategies for high sales of a company. Affected by this severe and robust effect of advertisement on a consumer may placate him to buy their goods. Still, one day or the other, the consumer will realize the real need of the product and will show reluctance in repurchasing them.

Today, the high sales of popular goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real need of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Advertising plays a vital role in business and nowadays, we are surrounded by adds. in the modern era, due to advertisements plethora of sales of famous items are enhance, however the products they sold is not a necessary for individuals. i,however, partially to this statements.

Commence with, the adds are beneficiary for masses owing to it helps to update the people about new things. To elaborate, if the new goods are launched then the countrymen are known about it they know about the usage of it and how product is work. In addition, masses can know about the job vacancies which helps a lot . to exemplify, a survey conducted by NCCS in the USA in 2018 which reveals that the 59% people were know about the products which newly launched in the market. Ergo, it is benefits for those denizens who are active and wants to know about the new items.

On the other hand, adds mislead the viewers. To elaborate, advertising are made in those way that attract the people, however children are attractive easily and they are trapped in the chief strategy.Adds render the some remorse and misguided the humans. For instance, the Chinese company launched their mobile and podcast some features which are totally fake. hence, people purchased those cell phone because they impressed by the features they provide but then they were dis-pointed a lot .
To conclude, the adds eased up a person lives but it is a responsibility of individual they can use their wise then they buy any products.

These days business houses invest huge amounts in advertising their products and services, as it play a vital role in generating sales and revenue. In my opinion, advertisements are essential, as they inform the customer about the latest trends and technologies available.
Advertisements are not confined to televisions, hoardings and newspapers now, but they are everywhere due to internet and availability of smartphones with the masses. Smartphones work on a push mode, wherein if you search a particular product, it will show you alternatives similar to it on social media as well. Moreover, with the growing competition various deals, discounts and offers are also communicated to the buyers which is also a benefit of advertising. Customers can easily make a choice from the various alternatives available in the market according to their needs and priority. Hence, it equips them to make an informed decision.
While advertisements provide a wide choice and information to the buyers, sometimes people are induced to buy products and services which they may not really need. Business houses mainly use celebrities and sportspersons to manipulate the buyers. I think, reckless spending may not only be a result of heavy advertisement, but sometimes peer pressure and social status may also be a reason of it. People do like to spend on luxury items irrespective of price tags or advertisements. The best example is of the Apple iphone, wherein many of my friends have to possess the latest model irrespective of its price, as it adds to their social status and simply because they like the product.
To conclude, I would agree that advertisements are a good source of information and it is in the hands of the buyer to make the best choice for themselves considering their pocket and not be manipulated into buying something they don’t need.

In recent years, the impact of advertising, not the real needs of people, leads to the prominence of commodities and the growth of selling. I totally agree with this idea.

As far as advertising corporations are concerned, they are promoting the products through the media with the aim of high sales. People are exposed to commercials inevitably when they are utilizing mass media such as the internet, television and newspaper. In other words, individuals can not surf the web, watch a movie or show on TV and read the newspaper without encountering the promotions. In my opinion, these perpetual ads would affect consumers’ subconscious and direct their decisions to purchase what these advertisement operations promote.

Furthermore, people, specifically the young, try to keep up with the joneses and follow in sport and entertainment celebrities’ footsteps. Not only do they manipulate youngsters into buying products they do not really need, but also, despite the fact that people from this walk of life are much less in comparison with normal people, they have a constructive impact on society’s desire. Admittedly, people would like to buy goods their favourite actor or actress influences rather than the proper one. And, under this circumstance, the goods which were promoted will sell highly.

In conclusion, I believe that the high sales of fame commodities demonstrate the profound effect of ads and not the real society’s need.

Hi there. As indicated above, I’ve documented my essay below for evaluation. Kindly provide me with feedback. Thanking you in advance. Kind regards, Lauren.

In the world today, advertising has advanced to such an extent that media brands and their representatives have mastered the art of speaking to one’s feelings and making them believe that they require something, even when they have absolutely no need for it.

As technology progresses and the various platforms that are available for advertising, it is easier for companies to showcase their goods. Be it you driving on the highway, opening up a newspaper, scrolling through social media just to see what your friends are up to, or even just walking into a shop to buy a basic necessity, there is some form of advertising, sometimes making you notice something that you previously had no interest in whatsoever.

Media houses are improving the way they advertise by learning more and more how to grasp at a person’s feelings. For example, they know life has become so fast paced, that people will often fall for goods that appear to make something happen faster, be it weight loss, for instance, or even cooking.

With so many surveys always being done, access to our search history, etc. advertisers use this research to advertise. They learn what platform to use, what colours peak different people’s attention, what form of advertising to use, and the list goes on.

In conclusion, I would say that I agree that to a large extent, it is the power of advertising that is the reason for the success of the high sales of popular goods and not always because the item is a need by the purchaser.

Todays world is highly influenced by advertisement where it has become the main source to sell out the consumer goods by ignoring the real needs of society. I completely agree with this statement and state my own view where power of advertisement are attracting more public and gaining more profit to fulfill their own needs.
Firstly, the way competition is shaping in the market to sell their product is huge, and the sellers are using the power of advertisement in effective way. Through advertisement policy they are attracting more public to buy the popular consumer goods, moreover by giving the logo or branding the products it is becoming more easy access to sale the consumer goods globally. For instance in Nepal wai wai noodles is becoming one of the top consumer goods where everyone try to buy the product in large sum.
Secondly, if advertisement of any consumer commodity is done by eminent or great politician leader of a country then there is high chance of selling and gaining more profit although the product does not carry the real needs of society it would be more reliable one for people because they might be sway from their inspirational people to use such goods .To illustrate if pepsi is advertise by famous people then people are more interested on having on a regular basis of their life.
To conclude, advertisement is the most powerful tools that provides merits as well as demerits but it should give equally value on high sales and the needs of society.
please provide me some genuine feedback and how can I improve more check it and provide me marks as well as for this writing task 2 sample
