Nowadays advertising is changing the way people use the market for consumer goods and services. From our Television to smartphones, we are exposed to tons of ads on a daily basis. These advertisements affect our buying decisions, whether we really need the product or not. Therefore, I personally advocate that advertisements dominate us in many ways and induced us to buy unnecessary things which are not required. Let’s discuss this in the subsequent passage.

To begin with, firstly, advertising usually plays with the psychology of the consumer by displaying it in an attractive manner and showing the advantages of the products Repetition of ads makes people curious to buy products without any dire need. The fact that we cannot escape from advertising. constant images wherever we look can be very intrusive or irritating. For instance, a plethora of adverts reflect back to back on mobile phones. with the latest technology, mobile companies are now able to send SMS to consumers’ phones.
Secondly, people usually follow their favourite ones like celebrities. The promotion of clothing by famous personalities leads their followers to use the same product. People are passionate about the star so tend to follow them no matter actually need that or not. Children and the young generation are mostly affected by adverts kind of toys, clothing, footwear, and gadgets that demand parents to buy them.
In addition, adverts for tobacco, alcohol or cigarette have long been a controversial issue. It is quite possible that encourages youth to consume.
In conclusion, It is certainly true to say that advertisement plays an important role in the decision-making process. Therefore, people are being constantly running to buy products or services which factually expensive, unnecessary or unhealthy. I believed that looking closely at many aspects of advertisement is wrong and not acceptable in future.

Recently it has been observed that their is a huge demand of popular items due to advertisement of such goods in regions which do not have appropriate use in their real life but still buyers use to purchase those goods. I completely agree with this statement and my explanation will be seen in further paragraphs.

There are certain reasons why consumers use to buy such type of goods. The foremost reason is advertisement usually play with psychology of consumer by displaying it in an attractive manner and showing advantages of that products. In addition, mainly young children are attracted towards such staff as they are immature and easy to manipulate. For example, advertisement of toys and food products are displayed frequently where actor or main leader of those advertisement belong to particular age group. If a company is launching product of certain age group which can be used up by those group. So, they use strategy in adds that actor belong to particular age group is enjoying and had a need of that products. As a result, this way consumers are attracted for such items.

Furthermore, celebrities and many other popular idols use to play role in advertisement which have great impact on society to purchased such products. For instance, advertisement of an energy drink by famous personality will indirectly affect the choice of people in the society. Moreover, regardless use of items consumer trend to purchased those thing which have no use in other life on in daily bases.

In contrast, Some people have their believe that through the medium of advertisement, people are aware to news products and technology which can be useful in their life to make their life easy, convenient, less time consuming which would be possible by purchasing those items.

In conclusion , through social media mainly by means of advertisement people uncertainly buy those products but does not have such value or useful in their life. Unfortunately still are in higher demands in market place.

There is a popular belief that it is the influence of advertising rather than actual need that fuels buying these days. I fully agree with this view. Adverts are everywhere and they are powerful enough to trick customers into buying event those things they do not really need.
First and foremost, in recent years because of the advancement of the technology, advertising industry has taken a new turn. They boost their product sale by showing their items several times to the customer, once they have searched for it on the internet. This is because of the availability of a variety of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. This incessant targeting makes people do unnecessary shopping. In addition, companies offer discount and tag their product as limited in stock and that indirectly raises / increases the product sale among the society.

Secondly, the advertising industry hires famous celebrities as brand ambassadors and that influences individuals to buy their premium products. For example, M.S Dhoni endorses Nike brand. This has increased the sale of Nike products as M.S. Dhoni has huge fan following all over India. Fitness products advertised by him has tremendous impact on the brand sale. People become emotionally attached to the brand and buy regardless of whether they need that product or can afford it.

To conclude, I completely agree with the argument that nowadays more than the need, it is the art of advertising that attracts buyers. Adverts convince people that they need to own certain products and they foolishly fall into the trap.

Advertisements have played a huge role in our purchasing behavior for a long time. I totally agree that as consumers, we end up getting influenced into buying things we may not actually need. This essay will take about how advertising is affecting our buying patterns in a negative way.

Advertisements play a major role in the sale of any product and it’s a medium where the sellers invest a huge amount. Nowadays, there are so many mediums for companies to reach out to their customers. We as customers are always surrounded by ads for different things through channels like Social Media, TV, E-mail, Bill boards, etc. Let’s take fast fashion as an example here. A new line of clothing is introduced by many popular brands like H&M or Zara every season and in order to keep up with the trend, we keep buying new clothes, discarding the old ones. This is not only creating an impact on our pockets but the environment too.

With a larger reach and a deeper understanding of the market, these organizations have surely mastered the art of creating a need for their products. Things we never thought we needed ten years back have become a part of our lifestyle now. For example, the demand for coffee-making machines at home or the huge demand for different skincare products endorsed by big celebrities.

To conclude, I would like to add that surely advertisements have changed our standard of living but it is doing more harm than good by pushing us all into impulsive buying behavior.

Advertisements play a vital role in enhancing the popularity of goods and thus helps in increasing the sales of such commodities irrespective of the actual need of the society. I totally agree with this statement because some companies generally leverage the influence of celebrities to gain popularity for their products and lack of marketing of useful resources leads to society who is unaware of their benefits.

Firstly, companies tend to use the images of renowned sports or entertainment celebrities to publicize their products. Along with the growing means of media such as a TV or a computer connected to internet, product owner can easily target the large number of fans of the celebrities. For instance, if Sachin Tendulkar, who is a famous cricket player, participated in a commercial about an energy drink on a TV, an enormous number of his loyal fans would buy the drink without considering their detrimental effects on the body.

Secondly, products which are not marketed well may not gain enough popularity because they will not get promoted and may not reach the prospective buyers. For example, there are not much advertisements highlighting the harmful impact of CO2 emissions from non-electric vehicles and promoting the use of more electric vehicles. Due to the same reason, it may take some time for the society to understand and adapt to this change. Therefore, if the benefit of using electric vehicles is advertised well, people will become more cautious about the environment.

In conclusion, I think advertisements have a profound impact on humankind, thus they are a substantial factor that decide the sales of goods inspite of the insignificance of social needs for it.

Nowadays, Industries have experienced a rise in the sales of their renowned products due to the powerful advertising but not to what the population really lack to. I totally agree with this statement because recently the advancement in technology has made people more prone to publicities than ever before, also there are several efficient ways to publicize a product and attracting buyers.
First of all, the society is so much vulnerable to advertisements that make individuals feel unsatisfied by what they possess as materials therefore become thirsty for buying extra commodities which are not needed and that is mainly through watching TV and navigating on the internet . For example, when watching YouTube videos the annoying ads always pop up which millions of humans may have passed from. In fact, the internet made it easier to buy something someone has seen by just using credit card number.
Secondly, various effective ways to convince people about a product have emerged and have been put into practice which led companies into a huge success. Basically, producers try often to show their commodity as the number one that is found nowhere telling us that buying it results in no regret, instead it will increase happiness. moreover, they sign contracts with celebrities as much as they can to appear in their advertisements. For instance, the Participation of Cristiano Ronaldo in Nivea shampoo ad led Nivea company to gain more costumers and increase profit.
To wrap up, i do agree that thanks to the big stride made in advertising, not to the actual needs of consumers, that goods became popular and consumable.

Advertisements have a significant influence on the purchasing decisions made in the society. Some people reckon that the rise in sales is due to advert’s effect on our perception, and is certainly not the society’s need in reality. I totally agree with this belief. Three arguments supporting this view along with conclusion are given below.

Advertising enables a business to spread awareness about the features of its products to the society, in order to persuade them to purchase it. Although advertising is an enormous expense in the corporate world, innumerable companies undertake this activity considering the influence it has on consumers minds. Advertising and marketing businesses use the tactic of recording the ad with a popular celebrity. And those people who are a fan of a famous personality make a purchase, even if they don’t require a certain item. For instance, an acquaintance of mine suggested me to buy a moisturizer solely because she believed it to be used by an artist, who she follows. So, ads can make people do shopping, even when they do not need it.

Moreover, businesses nowadays, display promotional ads along with mentioning days following which the offer will end. This predominantly effects the minds of consumers. For example: my mom was tremendously enthusiastic about making a purchase from a clothing brand after having received a promotional e-mail, which mentioned in bold letters “50% OFF”. Therefore, promotions very successfully play with our minds and we forget about our budget by sometimes purchasing products with a hefty price tag.

In conclusion, I support the fact that advertisement has made it immensely difficult to comprehend the need of society. Advertising companies are in rise and have dramatically increased sales with its employment of famous celebrities or promotional ads with discounts. This has made it impossible to distinguish between the needs and wants of society.

Nowadays, the power of advertising is driving the sale of popular goods rather than the actual demand of such products by the consumers. Considering the wide reach of advertising, I totally agree with this statement.
Most of the business houses spend considerable amount of money on advertising their products. They use various modes of advertising, including, but not limited to, newspapers, television, internet, movie halls etc. This, in turn, helps business to popularize their products because most of the consumers have access to internet, television and newspaper where these products are advertised. For example, whenever people are watching a video on YouTube or listening to songs on any music application, such videos and songs are interrupted by advertisements. In addition to this, one cannot scroll through social media like Facebook or Instagram without coming across a couple of advertisements from shopping websites or any eateries around them. Moreover, the traditional form of advertisement i.e. television and newspaper advertisements are still circulating as always. Therefore, when consumers encounter such advertisements on a regular basis, they become curious to know more about the product and hence all of these advertisements help to create demand for the products which may not be actually needed by the customers.
As discussed above, there are many factors which lead to the demand of consumer goods by marketing efforts of the companies rather than the actual need of the company. To begin with, the businesses hire popular and influential celebrities to advertise their goods, and thus, such products seem more attractive to people. For instance, Lux soap hired Aishwarya Rai Bachhan to market their soap which motivated women to purchase that soap as well. Additionally, companies generally advertise various types of discounts or gifts along with the bulk purchase of the products, such as 20% discount on purchase of 3 products or free noodles with the purchase of 2 kg tea, and therefore, people buy the product to avail such gifts even when they do not need to bulk purchase a product. Therefore, people end up buying the goods they do not actually require.
While advertising creates false demand of the products, the benefits of advertising cannot be ignored. It helps in educating the consumers about the various kinds of products which are available in the market. It also helps in communicating the usage and benefits of the advertised products. Without it, the consumers may never know the different kinds and varieties of the same product available in the market which may hinder them in making an informed decision. However, the advertisements should be regulated so that corporate business houses can be stopped from creating false demand of the products which results in wastage of money and creation of waste of consumer goods as people generally throw away their old goods in order to get a new one.
In conclusion, the development of various modes of advertising and wide reaches of such modes because of availability of electronic devices with an internet connection with most of the people has made it easier for businesses to popularize their products. However, this demand is not always correlated to the actual need of the consumers owing to celebrities influence and marketing offers.
