OBJECTIVE

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must possess the following requirements:

• An employment offer from the employer of New Brunswick.
• Score 4 or higher NCLC/CLB in French or English language tests.
• Comply with age and education requirements.
• Priority is given to candidates between the ages of 19 and 55.
• A minimum of one year of prior work experience is necessary within the last five years in NOC skill category 0, A or B.

New Brunswick Skilled Worker Program for Truck Driver

OBJECTIVE

If you are a truck driver by profession, possess a valid driver’s licence, and want to live in the province of New Brunswick in Canada, this is the program for you.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for this program, you must have the following criteria fulfilled:

• Intent to work and settle in the province.
• At least 2 years of professional experience gained within the last 5 years.
• A minimum of 1 year of a work offer from the employer situated in the province.
• A valid driver’s license.

New Brunswick Skilled worker with Employer Support Stream

OBJECTIVE

This program is for candidates who have a valid work offer from a New Brunswick business and are willing to relocate and contribute to the province’s economic growth.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for this program, candidates should have:

• At least 1 year of full-time offer letter for the NOC Skill level A, B or 0.
• Proficiency in English/French with a CLB/NCLC score of 4 or higher.
• A minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.
• Sufficient work experience in the applying field is a must.
• Applicants between the ages of 19 and 55 are given preference.

New Brunswick Skilled worker with Family Support

OBJECTIVE

Candidates interested in this stream must have already worked in the province as a temporary worker and have a close family who lives in the province. (Note: The immigration authorities permanently suspended this stream in February 2018. The regulatory authority is yet to reveal the cause for the suspension.)

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates who wish to apply through this program must obtain:

• Minimum 1 year of full-time offer letter for the NOC Skill level A, B or 0.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in English/French with a CLB/NCLC score of 4 or higher.
• A minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the field in which applicants wish to apply.
• Applicants between the ages of 20 and 55 are given preference.
• Intend to settle in the province.
• Minimum settlement funds of 10,000 Canadian dollars and additional 2000 Canadian dollars for accompanying family members are required.

A family member of the applicant must fulfill:

• Only non-dependent children, siblings, nephews, and nieces or grandchildren can be supported by the family member.
• The Family Supporter must be a full-time resident of New Brunswick.
• The Family Supporter must be financially self-sufficient and help the candidate in developing a settlement strategy.
• The Family Supporter must have owned and operated a company in New Brunswick for at least 12 months or have worked in a profession categorized as National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill levels 0, A, or B in the province for at least 1 year.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot for New Brunswick Employers

OBJECTIVE

New Brunswick firms can use the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) to hire skilled foreign employees and recent international graduates who desire to live and work in the province. Employers who are recognised under the program will be able to hire people with the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for this program, you must have the following criteria fulfilled:

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in the Atlantic region as a temporary worker.
• A permanent offer letter.
• A minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must comply with all the other AIPP requirements such as age, education and many more.

How to apply for New Brunswick skilled worker programs?

Eligible individuals must fill out an application for the stream in which they wish to participate. The province of New Brunswick will nominate successful candidates. The nominated applicant has six months to file a federal permanent residency application.
