Talk About a Time When You Visited a Farm or Met With a Farmer - Sample Answer 1
Farming is a way of life that will never get old because as long as humankind needs food, there will always be someone there to grow it. The farm is an educational place to visit as you get to see how the food you consume is being produced. I had one such opportunity and it was really informative.
My parents organised a trip to a farm on an excursion. The trip was to see the farm animals in their habitat and learn more about them, like what they eat, how they reproduce, what pests and diseases affect them, their medication, etc. My uncle owns a farm, and when I visited, I was surprised to discern the beauty around as I encountered it. It was a stupendous farm with leafy vegetables, and the panorama was exceptionally alluring. It was amicable, out of the hurry and fuss of metropolia.
Farmers are essential for the existence of the human race. My uncle informed me about the agriculture procedure from the onset till harvesting. Moreover, he told me how agricultural exercises have reformed over the decade and the advantages and shortcomings that have given rise to farming. I hope to visit the farm more repeatedly.

Talk About a Time When You Visited a Farm or Met With a Farmer - Sample Answer 2
I would like to talk about a time when I met a farmer during a visit to a small village near my hometown. This happened about three years ago when my family and I decided to spend a weekend away from the busy city.
We visited a farm that belonged to a local farmer who had been working in agriculture for many years. He welcomed us warmly and showed us around his fields where he grew vegetables and fruits. I remember watching him carefully water the crops and explain how much effort and patience farming requires. He also told us about the challenges farmers face, such as unpredictable weather and rising costs of farming equipment.
After spending a few hours there, I gained a new perspective on farming and the hard work behind the food we eat every day. In my opinion, farmers are extremely hardworking and dedicated people. They play a crucial role in society because they provide food for everyone, yet their efforts are often overlooked. That visit made me respect farmers much more than before.
Talk About a Time When You Visited a Farm or Met With a Farmer - Sample Answer 3
One memorable experience I had was when I met a farmer during a school trip to a countryside farm about five years ago. Our school organized the visit to help students learn more about agriculture and rural life.
The farm was located on the outskirts of a small town, surrounded by green fields and fruit trees. During the visit, we met the owner of the farm, who had been working as a farmer since his childhood. He explained how different crops are grown and even showed us how to plant seeds in the soil. It was fascinating to see how carefully he looked after the plants and animals on his farm.
Personally, I believe farmers are very important members of society. Their work requires dedication, patience, and physical effort. Without farmers, it would be impossible to maintain a steady food supply. Meeting that farmer helped me understand the value of agriculture and made me appreciate the effort that goes into producing the food we consume every day.

1. In your country, what kind of farms are most popular?
My country, India, is known for agriculture all around the globe. Despite the efforts of the farm union association, the government of the nation is yet to invest more in this sector. Most of the farmers use local tools. They are not mechanised agriculturists and are just running the farming with the few incomes they get. Usually, they get the aid of tractors or cows to plough their fields.
-
2. Do you think farming is essential for your country’s economy?
Different categories of sectors contribute to the growth of a nation’s economy, such as tourism, education, agriculture, and many others. However, I want to say that farming is one of the most crucial aspects of my country’s economy as it provides not only national income but also earns foreign exchange due to exports.
-
3. Did you do farm work when you were young?
Unfortunately, I didn’t do farming when I was young because I grew up in a city where people mainly focused on academics and white-collar jobs. However, agriculture has taken the lead in the nation’s economic growth now. Everybody is looking for ways to get involved in it directly.
-
4. Give your views about farmer protests in India.
The farmer protest that happened in India became very violent. It was about the farmer union of Punjab protesting against farm legislation enacted by the central government. The fear is about the government doing away with the minimum support prices. However, I read that the government promised the farmers to maintain their usual support. As it is for the benefit of the farmers, I support their agitation and want the government to take adequate steps to provide better facilities and protect them from exploitation.
