You have bought a new mobile phone and in a few days of purchase, it has stopped working. You have spoken to the company representative a week ago but it has still not been repaired.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter,

introduce yourself

explain the situation

say what action you would like the company to take

Write at least 150 words.

Sample answer

Dear sir/mam,

I am Prakhar, and I work as an IT infrastructure manager in the Zeus IT group next to your ‘Enriched Texture’ mobile shop and I am writing this letter to bring an unfortunate event relevant to my recent purchase from your shop to your notice.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S27 from your mobile store two weeks ago and was extremely exulted with my new purchase. However, my happiness didn’t last for long as right from the second day, my phone has been turning off each time I switched it on. I am extremely remorseful for this purchase, and above that, your staff seems to have turned deaf to my complaints. I talked to one of your representatives last week, where he assured me of the resolution of the issue only to have switched his phone off post that.

I implore you to arrange a callback and effectively resolve my complaint.
