You have seen an advertisement for a community college that needs teachers for night classes.

Write a letter to the community college.

In your letter,

say why you are writing

describe your interest to work as an English teacher

explain why you would be a suitable teacher for that community college.

Write at least 150 words.

Sample Answer

Dear sir/mam,
I am writing this letter with reference to your advertisement in the newspaper for an English teacher at your community college for the night shift classes. Speaking of which, I would like to put forth my name as I believe I would be an apt fit for this role.

I have been a sound student throughout my school and college years and was awarded a 100% scholarship for being a meritorious student during my post-graduation in English. Moreover, I was an English teacher for evening batches at Luminous College of Language and Lingua for more than five years, where I was awarded the ‘Best Instructor’ prize for three consecutive years. Hence, I believe I would be a significant asset not only for the students enrolled at your institution but also for the reputation of your college.
