Sample Answer 1
Life is full of ups and downs. While we cherish the ‘ups’, the ‘downs’ teach us a lesson that is valuable to us. Even though I have had very few unforgettable moments in my life, all of them are very close to my heart. One such special day was my 18th birthday.
Honestly, birthdays are not very important to me. It is just another regular day, but with appetizing food made by my mother. My mother gave me a heavy brown envelope. It contained the most exquisite neckpiece, with a diamond pendant. It was accompanied by a handwritten letter from my father. As I read the remarkable words of my father, who was posted in another state and could not be with me, tears welled up in my eyes.
As my friends and acquaintances came, I cut the homemade cake, thanked everyone for the gifts and their presence, and enjoyed the remaining time playing games.
