When is the right time to book the IELTS test?

It is always wise to prepare for the IELTS exam before booking for the same. Qualifying in any exam requires positivity, preparation, and practice. Successful candidates always give first preference to preparation. Then, when they're assured of their skills, they take the next step of booking for the IELTS test online.

What are the payment modes to pay for the IELTS test?

There are various payment modes through which you can pay for the IELTS test, such as, --> Pay online via Netbanking, E-wallets, or Visa, Visa electron, Master card. --> Cash payment at ICICI bank branch by filling in the ICICI payment slip --> Pay through Demand Draft (DD), which must be drawn in favor of the British Council or IDP payable at Delhi. Candidates must note that cash or credit/debit card payment for IELTS fees is not acceptable.

How can I change my Speaking test date or slot for the IELTS?

Candidates can choose their preferred test date for the IELTS Speaking test. They can contact the test center to change their test date for the IELTS Speaking test. Based on the availability, the test center will help them

Is it possible to cancel my IELTS exam and get a refund?

You can cancel your IELTS tests up to five weeks before the test date for PBT IELTS, and if you have opted for the CBT, you can cancel the IELTS test up to three weeks before the test date. Any cancellation or refund request received within five weeks or three weeks of the IELTS exam date will not be accepted, and no refund will be applicable.

Will my IELTS fees be refunded if I fail to appear for the exam on the scheduled date?

If you fail to appear for the test on the scheduled date without prior intimation, the candidate will be marked as a 'no show .’ The fees will not be refunded. In some exceptional cases, where the candidate provides evidence or justification within five days that his ability to sit for the test has been affected by severe illness or cause, 25% of the administrative fee will be refunded.
