Your parents will be celebrating their 50th anniversary next month. You are planning a big celebration, but you are not sure how to make the occasion really memorable. But you have a friend who can help.

Write to your friend Julia, who is a professional event planner.

In your letter,

explain why this occasion is special

ask for her assistance

set up a time to meet your friend to discuss your plans

Dear Julia,
I hope you are excellent and doing fine. I am writing this to tell you that my parents will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in the coming month and you know how special this is for all of us. I think you remember how we celebrated the silver anniversary of my parents and how euphoric and elated everybody was. Now that it’s their 50th one, it has to be double the celebration.

Julia, your penchant for event planning is impeccable and unmatchable and when it comes to trusting someone for an occasion as big as this, nobody is better than you as an event planner. I’ll be needing your assistance to make this even worthwhile and a memory to treasure for all our lives. I’ve done some planning already and have decided the location and have booked the hall.

Can we meet this coming Saturday at my place if that works for you? I’ll be free this weekend.
