Write a letter to your landlord complaining about noise in the block of flats which he owns. Include:
- where you live
- what the problem is
- what he should do
Sample Letter
Dear Mr. Singh,
I am Aisha, your tenant from flat no. 345 in the Apeksha Apartments colony that you own in the Versova area. I am writing this letter to you after experiencing issues with a neighbour, living in the adjacent flat, which I believe is also your property.
Every alternate night, I am disturbed with consistent, ear-piercing noise coming from this flat. Usually, the noises are either from loud instruments being played or large gatherings of people. I have tried complaining to the neighbour a couple of times but my pleadings seem to be falling on deaf ears.
Since I have to wake up early for work every day, the situation is quite chaotic for me as I am unable to get enough sleep.
As the in-charge of that flat, I request you to kindly talk to your tenant and ask him to behave properly.
Awaiting for your cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
Aisha
