Write a letter to your manager to request setting up a cafeteria for the staff. In your letter, you should tell:
- what you heard about the inconvenience from the staff
- how you feel about it
- what suggestions you have
Sample Letter
Dear Mr. Ashwini,
I am writing this letter to draw your attention toward the inconvenience that the staff is facing because of the lack of a cafeteria in our office. Working from 9AM to 6PM, under the pressure of stringent deadlines and strict rules often encourage us to take frequent coffee/tea breaks.
However, the lack of a cafeteria is forcing the staff to step out of the premises to buy eatables and drinks. This not just wastes a lot of time but also causes difficulty for the employees. Most of the time, people skip their lunch or rejuvenating coffee/tea breaks only because they would have to step out.
I have also heard a few employees complaining about the issues they face regarding this disruption. I believe that having a cafeteria in the office will solve a number of problems while simultaneously boosting productivity. I hope you will pay attention to this issue.
Hoping for a positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Dhruv
