People Think That it is Better for a Country’s Economy for People to Spend Money - Sample Answer 1
Several people think that spending is necessary for improving a country’s economy, whereas some argue that saving money is more beneficial. In my opinion, both factors are vital in boosting the economy. However, people should practice a sense of equality or balance per their needs and the nation.
On the one hand, people need to spend money to stimulate the economy because one person’s spending is the earnings of others. Economists believe that governments should encourage consumer spending to end the recession and that people’s expenditure on things is the single most imperative driving force of any country’s economy. Additionally, several businesses can flourish if people spend money on entertainment and luxury. To illustrate, the tourism and hotel industry are based on the people’s expenditures on amusement. In general, money spending is a crucial factor in boosting any economy.
On the other hand, some argue that saving money will protect an individual’s future and the coming generations. They think that investment would generate more money, reinforcing the economy in the longer run. For example, savings in a bank would be reinvested in some businesses, eventually creating a sustainable economy. People supporting this theory believe in mindful spending based on the need for the product. They are opposed to the idea of frivolous spending.
To conclude, although there are some benefits of saving income, people’s expenditure is a must for the overall economic growth of a country. I reckon that for the smooth running of the economy, people should spend money to provide income to various businesses and their employees.

People Think That it is Better for a Country’s Economy for People to Spend Money - Sample Answer 2
People hold differing views on whether spending or saving contributes more effectively to national economic development. Proponents of spending claim that active consumption drives market demand, leading firms to increase production and invest in expansion. This process generates employment and strengthens the overall economic cycle.
Conversely, advocates of saving argue that capital accumulation enhances a country’s financial stability. When citizens save more, banks have greater liquidity, enabling them to issue loans for entrepreneurial ventures and infrastructure projects. Furthermore, a population with substantial savings is less dependent on government support during economic downturns.
In my view, neither spending nor saving should be prioritised exclusively. A thriving economy requires both robust consumption and adequate savings, as they complement each other. Policymakers should therefore encourage responsible financial behaviour that maintains steady economic circulation without compromising long-term stability.

People Think That it is Better for a Country’s Economy for People to Spend Money - Sample Answer 3
There is an ongoing debate about whether people should prioritise spending or saving for the benefit of a country’s economy. Those who favour spending argue that consumer activity is the foundation of economic expansion. A rise in purchasing behaviour increases production, boosts employment opportunities, and supports government income through taxation.
On the other hand, supporters of saving emphasise its importance for financial resilience. Savings enable banks to lend money to businesses, which fosters innovation and industrial growth. Additionally, individuals with adequate savings are less vulnerable to economic shocks, reducing the likelihood of financial crises at the national level.
From my perspective, although spending fuels short-term economic progress, saving is equally essential for long-term security. Therefore, governments should promote a balanced approach that allows citizens to contribute to economic circulation while also building strong financial foundations.
