- who bought it
- what it looked like
- why it was bought for you and explain how you felt about this item of clothing
Sample Answer 1
They say girls’ wardrobes are always full of clothes, yet they don’t have anything to wear. Well, it is quite true in most instances. I am obsessed with shopping. The last weekend of every month, for me, is reserved for shopping. All this while, I preferred going to the store. However, nowadays, I am more inclined towards shopping on the internet.
- what it was
- who bought it
A few days back, I received a leather jacket. Keeping my favouritism towards clothes in mind, my grandfather suddenly decided to gift me this jacket. I’d like to let you know that I am extremely close to my grandpa. Our bond is strong and unbreakable.
- what it looked like
It is a slim fit black jacket and has a shine to it. The main zipper is skewed to one side; thus, differentiating it from the rest. The length is short. Inside, it has a piece of lining fabric. The jacket also features two open pockets and one inside pocket. It also has a straight collar and a simple wrist closer.
- why it was bought for you and explain how you felt about this item of clothing
There is no particular reason behind my grandfather buying me this jacket. Just a few days back, he asked me if I needed to buy any clothes because he felt like gifting something to his best friend. I was touched and overwhelmed. So, together we finalized this jacket on the internet. Indeed, the jacket is the closest to my heart and will always be a precious piece of clothing as my best friend had bought it for me.

- what it was

I would like to describe a coat my parents gave me as a present on my 18th birthday. I must say that it is really smart and exactly to my liking.
- what it looked like
The coat is entirely made of cotton and is made by a Vietnamese clothes brand. It is a knee-length black coat, which was in fashion at that time. What I like the most is that there are two deep side pockets, so in winter, I always put my hands into those pockets to avoid the cold. Besides, I can button the coat from top to bottom and it’s also got a decorative waist belt. I am so fond of this coat that I usually wear it every winter. It fits me perfectly and makes me feel comfortable and warm, no matter how cold the weather is. I keep myself warm by wearing the coat with jeans and boots, which match it well.
- why it was bought for you and explain how you felt about this item of clothing
In fact, I have never thought about whether it will be out of fashion. As this coat is a gift from my parents, I treasure it a lot and – for sure – I will keep wearing this coat in the future.
