Sample Answer 1
Well, I like partaking in on-road excursions to unexplored locations in India. Till now, I have relished almost all the trips I undertook, except for the one I detest the most. It happened when I relocated to Bangalore for a new job. I had no idea that travelling within a city like Bangalore can be difficult, especially if you don’t have your own vehicle.
Bangalore has one of the weakest road networks compared to its population and size. Moreover, the highways are little more than tiny alleys that pass through settlements that haven’t been developed to become part of the metropolis. As a result, there is no reliable bus, subway, or other public transportation systems. People must rely on cabs, auto-rickshaws, or self-driving.
I was new to the city and planned to go to the movies one weekend with an office colleague. The theatre was only 6 kilometers distant from my residence, and according to Google Maps, the trip time was less than 20 minutes. So we made the necessary preparations and left for the theatre with 40 minutes to spare. It started raining cats and dogs about halfway down. In the city, unexpected showers are common. Within minutes, the whole road was inundated in water, and traffic was entirely halted. We were stranded for at least two hours, with everyone honking and hollering over our heads. As a result, we decided to cancel the trip and exited the cab. While I was walking on the sidewalk, a car drifted to my side of the road, spilling all the vile water on me. Additionally, I slipped and sprained my ankle when crossing the road. It was indeed my most disliked journey.
Sample Answer 2
I love traveling. Whether it’s a long trip or a short journey, travelling takes me out of my comfort zone and rejuvenates my soul. Recently, my friends and I decided to go to an exhibition in the city, which is almost 50 kilometers from where I live. Usually, it takes around 90 minutes to reach the city by bus. However, owing to the bus strike, we decided to go to the exhibition by car this time. I usually get carsick, so I don’t enjoy travelling by car. It makes me feel nauseated and causes headaches. Thus, I tend to fall asleep instead of staying awake during the car trip.

Even though car sickness makes it difficult for me, I had no other choice but to go to the exhibition by car. We decided to set off early in the morning and reach the city by the wee hours. The next day, we hit the road. I dozed off to sleep, but when I woke up, I was mesmerized by the scenic view of the mountains and endless roads. As we crossed the countryside, one side of the highway was congested with traffic, due to which we stopped frequently. The other side of the road was under construction, which was the main reason for all the vehicles to get stuck in the traffic. We waited in the scorching sun for more than an hour and then finally reached our destination. Overall, most of our time was spent in the traffic, which made our journey worse.
