- What is it?
I feel that sharing our talents and expertise with others and inspiring them to learn something new, is one of the most satisfying experiences in life. So, without considering my own rewards, I’d like to teach others the abilities I have. Photography is a skill that I can teach others, and it is a passion that I have developed over the years. Years of practice, experimentation, and studying from skilled photographers have helped me refine my photographic talents.
- How did you learn it?
I became interested in photography during my adolescence and began learning the fundamentals through internet tutorials, books, and hands-on experience with my camera. I actively sought opportunities to improve my abilities over time by taking courses, joining photographic communities, and working on self-directed projects.
- How can you teach others this skill?
The time it takes to teach photography depends on the individual’s prior knowledge and level of commitment. Within a few sessions, you will have a fundamental understanding of photography basics, including camera settings, composition, lighting, and post-processing procedures. To perfect the art of photography, however, months or even years of practice and exploration are required.
- How do you feel about this skill?
For starters, I feel that photography offers a creative medium for self-expression, allowing people to capture situations and communicate their distinct perspectives. It also promotes attentiveness and respect for the environment, resulting in a stronger connection with the world. Furthermore, learning photography can lead to various opportunities, such as pursuing a job in the area, capturing personal experiences, or simply enjoying photography as a rewarding hobby. Hence, by teaching photography, I hope to enable people to communicate their experiences visually, increase their artistic ability, and develop a strong eye for detail.

As a person who loves trying out challenging stuff in life, I have pushed myself to do things that have invoked fear in me. Here I am going to talk about my swimming skill. To overcome it, I pushed myself to learn to swim and now I have become a pro at it I believe.
- How did you learn it?
Whenever I saw TV shows about watersports, I got excited to learn about them but was a bit hesitant due to my fear of the waters. But, since I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, I started swimming daily in a sports centre near my home. I never skipped a day and with regular practice, I learned swimming and I felt my fear fading away! And now, I am a district player in the swimming competitions.
- How can you teach others this skill?
I would love to teach my fellow mates to swim. It actually is a great sport and I feel everyone should know swimming as it is a basic life skill. Getting in the water and starting with some basic moves should do the trick. I would say consistent practice is what helps in learning it.

I feel great now that I can swim since it is the best exercise for the entire body. I went on a beach vacation after learning and went swimming and surfing. Achieving success is something that everybody desires, but success doesn’t come without hurdles! But with consistent effort, one can without doubt achieve success.

IELTS Speaking Part 3: Follow-up Questions
1. Should teachers be funny when they teach?
Yeah, I think that teachers can include speaking in a funny way while teaching since the students will be more comfortable discussing their concerns and doubts with their teachers. Despite that, teachers can also be strict in letting the students know about the class’ decorums and also hold a jovial character. It is the balance I would say.
2. What qualities should teachers have?
Firstly, I believe teachers on the whole must have very good communication skills. In fact, this is the main part of them being educators for their pupils! In addition to this, they must be keen observers and also be patient with everyone. Not every student is at the same level of understanding, hence, it is the duty of the teacher to take all of these into consideration.
3. Which do you believe is more significant, academic or practical skills?
I would say that both the academic as well as the practical skills are important. This can be narrowed down to a person’s occupation. If a particular individual is in the teaching field, then academic knowledge is crucial; whereas, for sports and engineering sectors, practical skills must be important.
4. Which age group is optimal for learning?
I firmly believe that learning mustn’t be restricted with age. I think that learning is a constant process that keeps on happening throughout our lives. Getting to learn new stuff each day lets one also analyze their talents and get better at them as well.
5. What abilities may a child acquire from his or her teachers and parents?
Teachers and parents can teach a child a variety of abilities, such as honesty, respect for authority figures, punctuality, and many others. Additionally, parents and teachers both make a substantial contribution to the development of these talents in children.
