Some people believe that women should not be restricted from entering the tri-forces of their nation. I completely agree that women should be allowed to join the Army, the Navy and the Air Force just like men in this essay.
Firstly, our history is proof that women have been outstanding fighters and commanders who have guided their armies to achieve success all around the world. Along with this, their inbuilt ability to maintain harmony with the people they come across is one to be noted on a good note. For example, in the 18th and 19th centuries, Indian queens like Rani Lakshmibai and Ahilyabai Holkar valiantly defended their country India, against multiple invaders. This shows that women were and are efficient leaders and could even guide a larger crowd and as an add-on, could maintain the country’s peace without hassle.
Secondly, women in the armed forces can be appointed to the responsibilities related to nurturing and providing care. This particular nature of them needs to be utilized in the right way since they have greater emotional strength and are more patient than men. Moreover, females are also capable of showcasing their invaluable intellectual and cognitive skills. They will be an asset to the forces of their country. Band 8 Sample Answer For Women Should be Allowed to Join the Army, the Navy and the Air Force Just Like Men Writing Task 2
A set of people believe that the female community must be encouraged to join the defense forces like – the navy, army, as well as the air force similar to how the men are. Hence, I partially am inclined towards this idea that women deserve to be treated equally to men and the essay will shed light on it as well as talk about the other side of it with proper examples.
First off, the women today are shining in whatsoever domains they step in. Starting from education to astronomy, and from proper management to having a hold of leadership roles, women leaders have shown greater success in uniting people with peace. With this notion, it is evident that ladies can render determination and dedication when it comes to serving their nation. To give an example, Lebanon women are consistently encouraged to serve both in the army as well as the police forces as per their wishes and this is mainly because of their ambition-filled personalities.
On the other hand, certain people are directly against the idea of women getting into the armed forces since they consider it to be a risky step. To elaborate, these jobs are mostly transferable, and since women might love nurturing their families. They at times might not be able to handle taking their children along while they work in the borders since it might not be safe for the children.
To conclude, I believe that no matter the gender, everyone in the world should be encouraged to pursue whatever they wish. Hence, women should be allowed to join the army, the navy and the air force just like men and should not be denied their right to enter the defence but, it must be their own call.

Unlock Band 9 Sample Answer
Certain individuals believe that women must be given equal employment opportunities, just like men, to get into the armed forces of their country. I partially stand with the fact that women must be allowed to enter into any field that they wish to and will also discuss the negative impacts it might have in this essay.
To begin with, women, if allowed to take part in the armed forces, will be a boon since the world has now seen that they are equally capable as men mentally as well as physically. Adding on to this, women are by nature peacemakers. This main characteristic will also come in handy and when a leadership role is given, they will be easily able to reduce conflict among the nations. For instance, nowadays women are already a part of the police department and have very well proved their abilities in taking up adventures and riskier jobs. To mention, women leaders like Queen Elizabeth, Victoria, etc. have been popular and have ruled a vast spectrum of power.
On the flip side, women might encounter some physiological barriers to joining the defence force since most women might prefer to raise their own family and give birth to a child. In this case, they would want maternity leave, which is an impossible thing while in the army if a war is on the go. If women were in the force, it would be impossible for them to get leave at the time of war.
In conclusion, living in these advancing years, the women’s community has come forward and has shown interest in every kind of work. Moreover, they have also proved that they can achieve and contribute a lot to society, so taking part in the defence shouldn’t be a problem for them, I believe.
