Have you ever looked at someone or thought that they deserve all the love and respect in the world? There you go, you have found someone to admire. It is one of the easiest topics, all you need to do is orate about your favourite person, and I’m sure you’ll not run out of words in this one. You need to find if you hold someone in high esteem or look up to someone.
Your admiration may be based on material possession, fame or fortune, people you idolize, or it can be reserved for someone more priceless than this world could offer.
Some characteristics of the person whom you admire can be:
Warm-hearted | sympathetic and kind |
Integrity | the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles |
Flexible | a person ready and able to change to adapt to different circumstances |
Witty | marked by or full of clever humour |
Resilience | an ability to effectively bounce back from adversity |
The examiner may ask you questions like why do you like these characteristics in a person? Your answer should be honest and frank. You can add some examples to explain your point in a better manner.
You must have a clear and confident idea of what you are going to speak. It is advised not to pick a person unless you have a very well-thought-through answer, else you risk making the examiner’s eyes glaze over.
