Sample Essay
Nobody can refute the growing interest in the effects of human actions on animals and plants. While many feel that it is too late to address this issue, others reckon that several effective options are available to address the stated issue. In the following paragraphs, I shall discuss both views and provide my viewpoints.
Human-caused deforestation or climate change is so devastating that it endangers the lives of countless animals. As a result of habitat degradation and human hunting, many plant and animal species are becoming extinct. Some of them have already gone extinct, altering the ecosystem’s equilibrium. For example, in Vietnam, where there used to be a huge number of tigers, this animal has been killed for years to serve human demands, and just a few species remain. People believe humans cannot do anything else to cure the situation for a variety of reasons, one of which is that humans cannot cease their actions. Indeed, manufacturers operate on a regular basis and release a large amount of carbon dioxide, which raises the global temperature.
Nevertheless, I consider that there are numerous steps that governments and individuals may take to mitigate the detrimental impact of our actions on the environment. Hence, governments all across the world must get together to solve the issue of deforestation. This is because it is the primary cause of the extinction of endangered species. For example, the South African government banned deforestation in 2015, and the consequences have been astonishing, with numerous species saved from extinction and soil erosion halted. Consequently, endangered species’ habitats are no longer disrupted, and crop output has grown. Individuals can also raise awareness about the negative impact that certain of our actions have on the environment. Obviously, there are many more things we can do to address the problem.
To summarize, given the fact that many people believe that humans are powerless to conserve plants and animal species, I am certain that we can take several steps to better our environment and save a diverse range of animals.
