Sample Answer 1
My mother relishes decorating the house. As a result, she’s always seeking something new to add to our home’s decor. Apart from indoor plants, lovely drapes, and exquisite wall hangings, antique pieces are the next thing to add character to our home. At my house, the old antique decorative objects create a different atmosphere.
One of my favorite antique pieces at my home is the old gramophone which belongs to my grandmother. When my grandfather and grandmother married, he gifted it to her. My grandmother, who enjoys music, says music was better back when record players were accessible. Even she describes the gramophone’s sound as distinct and unique.
It’s a magnificent antique Brio Gramophone constructed of wood and brass. Its rustic appearance adds to its attractiveness. My grandmother collected dozens of gramophone recordings, which we keep at home. Even though it is no longer functioning, my mother keeps it as an antique item in the living room, where it adds to the ambiance. It has a distinct and appealing aspect, which is the ageless old-school aesthetic.
There’s no doubt that it adds a touch of history and legacy to our living area and a lot of character and tons of timeless appeal. It displays a profoundly personal and exclusive sense of style that possesses a specific emotional significance because it is collectible and passed down from my grandmother to my mother. This piece of love is utilized to enhance the appearance of my home, which is truly wonderful.
Sample Answer 2
I am extremely interested and excited to discuss the antique pieces that my little abode is decorated with. Although there are plenty of antique and historical pieces in my house, the one that I like the most is a large dining table, manufactured with oak wood. This is an ancestral piece that has been in my house for more than 50 years.

Even after half a century, the table looks new. Its dark brown colour is intact. And, I feel proud to say that my family has done a really good job in taking care of this valuable piece as there is not even a single scratch or damage on the table. As per my grandfather, the manufacturing of this dining table dates back to the 1960s. It is huge and spacious enough to accommodate up to 15 members. So, even if there are guests in our house, we all can sit together and dine scrumptiously.
As far as its source is concerned, my grandfather tells an interesting story. Accordingly, when my great-grandfather bought his first-ever home, he called some of the finest carpenters in the town to create this dining table. My great grandfather did not budge from his seat until this marvellous piece was ready to be used. Since then, my grandfather has taken care of it like a prized possession. Although the table took a lot of space in the house of my great grandfather, it looks perfectly fine in our living room. This is one piece of furniture that is close to my heart as it speaks about the history of my family.
