There are numerous reasons behind the worsening student behaviour. Firstly, due to the sudden upturn in educational enrolments, educational institutions hire teachers who might not be well suited to handle students first-hand. As a result, the children understand this lacking in their teacher, they become unruly in the class and create disturbances. Secondly, children are often showered with immediate gratification from their parents and loved ones, leading them to feel entitled to their needs and requirements elsewhere. This overindulgence of the parents make their wards selfish and extremely demanding as they can go to any length to grab attention to fulfil their desire. Moreover, children spend a lot of time playing games, which can negatively affect their psyche as it might incite aggression.

Nevertheless, there are solutions to these issues. Schools should stress on inculcating values in the children as part of the curriculum to make them disciplined human beings. For example, Japan’s educational system mandatorily teaches its students various values like respecting elders, maintaining cleanliness, etc. Secondly, parents need to delay unnecessary luxury to their children to make them more tolerant and accepting. Lastly, the education system should incorporate learning via unconventional mediums such as gaming. Since gaming is proven to enhance cognitive abilities, participating in such activities in a watchful set-up like a school can help them turn aggression into a winning mindset.

To summarise the essay, many schools in various countries face the dilemma of deteriorating student behaviour. It is true that the problem at hand is alarming. But, the situation is yet to turn into a crisis and can be solved if steps are implemented soon to curb it.

Creating a peaceful environment in which their children is free to voice their opinions which can lead to a significant change in their behavior outside of the homes. Besides, educational institutions can revamp their teaching methods to create a non-competitive learning atmosphere that values individual differences and talents. Furthermore, schools can introduce diverse grading criteria to score students based on their skills and interests rather than a similar grading system for everyone. Apart from that, parents should prevent their children from having the privilege of using the internet and watching crime movies for an extended period. Instead, they should impose time constraints and limits on how much time their children spend online.

To sum up, several factors such as the school and family environment, internet, and lifestyle choices influence students’ aggressive behaviour, which is a pressing problem. However, it can be purged at the foundation level if effective preventive measures are taken. Because children are the country’s future citizens, it is essential for the parents and educational institutions to mould their character and groom them into compassionate human beings.
