The last few years have experienced burgeoning growth in communication technology and transportation, enabling people to work and live in any part of the world. In my opinion, it has lots of advantages when compared to minor drawbacks that it might bring.

Technology has revamped the way we live and work. Now work is no longer something we do at a specific place or time; instead, it can be done anywhere and anytime. A perfect example here is the internet. With the help of this fantastic tool, man can do his job wherever he stays. Furthermore, the internet renders various opportunities. People are now able to do multiple works through outsourcing around the world. Moreover, due to the high-speed transportation system, people effortlessly and fast travel from one city or country to another. People are no longer bound to live near the workplace as they can easily commute from home to the office in a minimum time.

On the flip side, there are some drawbacks as well. Communication technology makes it laborious to focus, pay attention and connect with people. Although people can comfortably stay connected through high-tech advancement in the communication system, it can also keep them apart. For example, today, interaction among people has become dependent on the internet as it is quite frequent that people keep an eye on their phone screens while conversing with each other. So, they are physically together, but they are not paying attention and focusing on each other.

To sum up, in my opinion, the benefits of getting employed and settling abroad eclipse the minor drawbacks it brings. People get better job opportunities and a better standard of living with improved communication technology and transportation.
