Recently, Abortion Increases Rapidly and Becomes a Controversial Topic - Sample Answer 1
Abortion is becoming more prevalent globally, making it one of the most contentious and divisive issues. While many people, including myself, believe that abortion should be legalized, others oppose it. In the following paragraphs, I shall discuss both views and elaborate on my viewpoint.
Those who oppose abortion legalization say that even in the early stages of pregnancy, life is developed and that abortion would result in killing a human being. According to research, the fetus begins to grow as early as the first week of pregnancy. To such advocates, abortion would thus imply the annihilation of an existing form of life. Additionally, they feel that abortion is the root cause of several health problems in women. Following abortion, they become physically and emotionally ill. Some argue that spewing this action is completely against our culture and should be prohibited in society.
However, others believe that abortion should be legalized, allowing women the right to choose. The pregnancy is sometimes the consequence of rape, and other times the lady is in an abusive relationship. In either instance, if a woman thinks she does not want the child, she should be able to terminate it. There has also been a rise in women who do not desire children throughout the years. So, only women who can raise their children in a healthy and loving atmosphere should give birth. Bringing a child into this world, knowing that one will be unable to provide it with a healthy and happy upbringing, is a greater crime than murdering it in the womb. Abortion should be allowed everywhere for these reasons.
In conclusion, abortion is a very contentious issue, with arguments both for and against it. Women, in my opinion, should have the freedom to terminate a pregnancy when they want.

Recently, Abortion Increases Rapidly and Becomes a Controversial Topic - Sample Answer 2
In recent years, abortion has increased significantly, making it a highly controversial issue worldwide. While some people believe abortion should be legal to protect women’s rights and health, others strongly oppose it due to moral and ethical concerns. This essay will discuss both viewpoints before presenting my own opinion.
On the one hand, supporters of legal abortion argue that women should have the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies. In cases such as unplanned pregnancies, health complications, or pregnancies resulting from assault, abortion may be the safest and most practical option. Legalising abortion also ensures that the procedure is carried out under medical supervision, reducing the risks associated with unsafe and illegal practices. From this perspective, abortion laws are seen as a way to safeguard women’s physical and mental well-being.
On the other hand, opponents believe that abortion is morally unacceptable because it involves ending a potential human life. Many argue that unborn children have a fundamental right to life, regardless of circumstances. In addition, some fear that making abortion legal may encourage irresponsible behaviour and reduce the sense of accountability associated with parenthood. Cultural and religious beliefs also play a significant role in shaping these views.
In my opinion, abortion should be legal but strictly regulated. While it should not be used as a routine solution, access to safe and legal abortion is essential in certain situations to protect women’s health and dignity. Governments should also focus on education and contraception to reduce the need for abortion in the first place.

Recently, Abortion Increases Rapidly and Becomes a Controversial Topic - Sample Answer 3
The rapid rise in abortion rates has turned the issue into a major subject of debate. Some people support legal abortion, whereas others oppose it on ethical and moral grounds. This essay will examine both perspectives and explain my viewpoint.
Those who support abortion laws argue that legalisation provides women with control over their reproductive choices. In many cases, continuing a pregnancy may have serious consequences for a woman’s health, education, or financial stability. Moreover, banning abortion does not eliminate it; instead, it often forces women to seek unsafe procedures, which can result in severe health complications or even death. Therefore, supporters believe that legal abortion is a necessary public health measure.
Conversely, critics claim that abortion is fundamentally wrong because it ends an unborn life. They believe that society has a responsibility to protect vulnerable individuals, including fetuses. Some also argue that alternatives such as adoption should be promoted instead of abortion. From this viewpoint, legal abortion undermines moral values and weakens respect for human life.
In my view, a balanced approach is required. Abortion should be permitted under specific circumstances, such as medical emergencies or extreme personal hardship, while efforts should be made to discourage unnecessary procedures. Comprehensive sex education and access to contraception are crucial in reducing abortion rates without violating individual rights.
