Sample Answer 1 on ‘Enormous Increase in Flights for Leisure, Business, And Commercial Purposes’
The modes of transportation and the way of going from one locale of the globe to another is a cakewalk now, thanks to the aerospace and aviation industry. The number of flights has mushroomed in the modern world for various reasons, including corporation requisites, events, etc. However, that comes with its own fair share of advantages and disadvantages. In the forthcoming paragraphs, I shall elucidate the merits and demerits of the increment in flights and analyse if levying more taxes on flights would be good.
When we talk about the advantages of the increase in flights over the past few years, the first benefit that comes to the fore is the ease at which the corporational manoeuvres are executed today. Where the operational front of the organisations was halted because of the time constraint and distance restraints now seems out of the question owing to the swift transportation of aeroplanes/choppers. Also, the cost at which the tickets were booked almost a decade ago has now gnawed off to half owing to frequent air travel. Moreover, from the tourism point of view, not only has it increased the revenue from more tourists across the globe, but it has also invoked a sense of unity as people get to discover the nooks and crannies of the world. However, there are some disadvantages of these periodic air travels as well. The most calamitous devastation is the air pollution that has been disastrously polluting the atmosphere with certain incombustible or partially combusted gases, such as Carbon Monoxide. This has increased the level of air pollution and has deteriorated the air quality over a period of time, which consequentially, has been detrimental to the human diaspora.
As for imposing hefty taxes on air travel, it is, in accordance with my thoughts, very baseless and unpragmatic. Such a scenario would take us a decade back and hence would roll down the curtains for the scenes that were prevalent earlier. Not only would it impede the business requirements, but it would also curb the developmental strides of the modern world in many aspects. A better remedial measure to the menace of air pollution would be the fostered implementation of the eco friendly fuels. This would certainly result in the refinement of the atmospheric status and shall not hamper the speed of development.
In conclusion therefore, we may say that the burgeoning flights come with advantages and disadvantages, and levying more taxes on air travel is not a good alternative and shouldn’t actualize.

Sample Answer 2 on ‘Enormous Increase in Flights for Leisure, Business, And Commercial Purposes’
The increase in air travel at a rapid pace for leisure, business, and commerce has changed the operation of the world. The expansion of the aviation industry brought many upsides and disadvantages in terms of its environmental and societal impacts. The essay will discuss these reasons in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Air travel is one of the major factors that contribute to global development. Firstly, it helps to increase the interchange between nations and even people who come from different continents to travel for business, fun, or get acquainted with each other's cultures. To elaborate, companies can hire people and do business in other countries along with being tourists. On the other hand, the number of air travelers is booming which is causing many problems such as environmental damage. Aircraft are one of the largest sources of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which causes global warming. For instance, the aviation sector accounts for about 2-3% of yearly global CO2 emissions.
Moreover, the introduction of higher taxes on air transport is an issue that is debated strongly from different perspectives. This is because new taxes will reduce unnecessary trips which can help in cutting down carbon emissions. The government could use the money raised from the tax to fund the development of green modes of transport like electric planes or super-fast trains. Besides, if the prices of flights were to go up, air travel would become a luxury for low-income earners with the result that accessibility would be reduced and economic inequality would be further aggravated.
In conclusion, the increase in flights has brought about drastic changes in global connectivity and economic growth, but at the same time, it has been a source of critical environmental problems.
