Band 7 Sample Answer for Writing Task 1 Question – A Friend is Thinking of Going on a Camping Holiday
Dear Maggie,
I believe that you are doing well. I am writing to you regarding your planned camping trip this summer.
I think you’re going to love camping. Camping is the finest way to actually experience nature, and I know you love the great outdoors. Coorg, known as the “Scotland of India”, is a picturesque hill station renowned for its lush greenery, coffee plantations, and mist-covered hills, and I guarantee that you will enjoy yourself.
But holidays of this kind are not without their disadvantages. The first is that you have to make sure you have a lot of preparation and don’t forget anything important. Also, make sure to check the weather forecast before finalizing the dates or it might affect your plans and camping experience.
I really wish I could join you. As you know, my cousin is getting married and I am the maid of honor. So, it is impossible for me to cancel without making her angry.
Enjoy your camping trip and let me know if you have any more plans.
Best Regards,
Nisita

Band 8 Sample Answer for Writing Task 1 Question – A Friend is Thinking of Going on a Camping Holiday
Dear Mali,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m thrilled to hear that you are considering going on a camping holiday this summer.
Camping allows you to immerse yourself in nature like no other vacation. The peace and tranquility of being surrounded by trees, fresh air, and natural beauty are truly rejuvenating. It will also give you opportunities for adventure and exploration. From hiking trails to swimming in natural bodies of water, there’s never a dull moment.
However, it’s essential to consider some disadvantages. Firstly, weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for sudden rain showers or temperature changes. Additionally, insects and pests are part of the outdoor experience, so bring along insect repellent and proper gear to stay comfortable.
As for joining you on your camping trip, I would love to! It would be fantastic to share this adventure together and create lasting memories in the great outdoors.
Let’s discuss further and start planning our camping adventure.

Unlock Band 9 Answer
Dear Mayukh,
I am writing to share some suggestions that you asked for during your first camping trip this summer.
After working long hours for the last few months, I know you needed a break from your hectic schedule. The best way to do so is a camping trip into the lap of nature. As you are an orophile, I suggested Rishikesh. The campsites there offer serene surroundings, with the backdrop of majestic mountains and the soothing sound of the river. Also, you can enjoy activities like river rafting, trekking, yoga, and meditation amidst nature.
However, there are some downsides to camping that you must be aware of. Firstly, outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, or swimming while camping carry risks of injury. Moreover, being outdoors increases the likelihood of encountering insects such as mosquitoes and ants, which can bite and cause discomfort. Additionally, camping involves limited comfort, as you have to sleep on the ground in tents or sleeping bags and have restricted access to modern conveniences.
Honestly, I am in desperate need of a break and would like to join you. So, if you are interested, let me know.
Eagerly waiting for your response.
Warm Regards,
Kumar
