Sentence 2: Some people argue that people should be trained to drive appropriately in order to avoid accidents and pay heftier charges. However, I believe that initiating severe punishments will promote better driving results.

In today’s fast-paced world, road safety has become a significant concern for everyone, with the rise of automobiles paving the way for more accidents. It is argued that people should be educated and trained to use vehicles properly, which is better than punishments for driving offenses. However, in my opinion, I believe that the government should initiate some laws and implement some punishments to bring better driving habits among the drivers.

It is undoubtedly true that the new era of technological advancement in the automobile domain has been on the rise, albeit with some consequences. Implementation of strict punishments can definitely encourage people to drive more carefully and safely. Therefore, the government should introduce serious penalties and severe punishments such as small fines for rash driving, license suspension, or prison charges for aggressive drivers, which will deter reckless driving and over-speeding.

If the government introduces such punishments for aggressive drivers, they will understand that their careless driving actions have adverse consequences. As a result, they’d become more disciplined and alert while being on the road and follow the rules faithfully, which could reduce road accidents. Further, they would follow the road safety rules and regulations to avoid paying hefty charges as penalties.

It is true that individuals should learn to drive the vehicles properly by following the prescribed speed limits on the various roads and national highways to avoid minor and major accidents. Even though educational institutions can supervise and encourage the student’s driving skills at an early age, harsh punishments and strict laws introduced by the government will do better to prevent reckless driving.

To sum up, I strongly feel that strict punishments and severe penalties are far more likely to avoid catastrophic accidents when compared to better driving education. Thus, the government should initiate strict road rules and regulations and severe punishments for being careless on roads.
