Describe a Part of a City or a Town You Enjoy Spending Time in - Sample Answer 1
- Where it is?
Well, I am a person who loves to travel to different places. I could gallivant across cities and ramble across the country all alone if given the chance. So it’s quite obvious that I have been through all the places in my city. Although all the places in my city are extremely beautiful, the favorite place that I love to visit is Zakora park. It is one of the most beautiful spots for people who have an inclination toward nature.
- What it is like?
- What do you do there?
Zakora park has plants of all kinds and with such fragrant aroma that nobody can resist praising the glory of nature. The flowers are of vibrant colors with idiosyncratic hues and spellbinding shapes. Apart from the plants, the structured planning and the cleanliness of that park is yet another point that makes this place the most beautiful one in my city. I generally visit there whenever I look for some solace as it is the best place to find one. Apart from that, in case I need to concentrate on my work, I take my laptop or papers along with me to find some creative ideas without being disturbed.
- And explain why do you enjoy spending time there.
I just love this place for its beauty, tranquility, natural beauty, and more. I believe this place adds a feather of glory to my city and is one of its kind.

Describe a Part of a City or a Town You Enjoy Spending Time in - Sample Answer 2
- Where it is?
- What it is like?
A part of my town that I deeply enjoy is the old marketplace area located near the main road. Unlike modern shopping malls that feel uniform and commercial, this place has narrow, winding streets lined with traditional shops that have existed for decades. The area has a vibrant atmosphere where local culture and history blend seamlessly, making it feel alive and meaningful rather than artificial.
- What do you do there?
Whenever I visit this marketplace, I like to spend time exploring small, independent bookstores, sampling local snacks, and chatting with shopkeepers who have known me and my family for years. These interactions make the experience more personal and welcoming. I also enjoy doing photography there because almost every corner reflects authenticity, tradition, and everyday life. From colourful shop signs to elderly vendors and bustling customers, the setting offers endless visual stories and is always bustling with life.
- And explain why do you enjoy spending time there.
Spending time in this area feels both nostalgic and grounding. It reminds me of my childhood and the simpler times when community bonds were stronger. I particularly enjoy being there because it represents the true soul of the town. The lively conversations, cultural richness, and strong sense of familiarity make me feel deeply connected to my roots. Even though the place can be crowded and noisy at times, it has a warmth and character that modern spaces often lack, which is why I always find myself returning to it.
