Sample Answer 1
Everyone can be successful in life, but it takes effort and commitment. Things don’t always fall into place immediately, so patience and time are required. Knowing the value of time is equally essential for success. It is said that time is money. Time lost implies missed opportunities. A successful individual knows how to manage time in addition to hard work. Passing the high school board examinations with flying colors is one of my greatest achievements.
As you know, class 12th marks are important. Admission to universities is granted based on your scores. Even if you apply to universities that require an admission exam, your 12th-grade grades are considered. As a result, board examinations are difficult since they demand extensive study over time. One thing I’ve learned is to practice self-discipline since I used to be easily sidetracked by things that caused me to lose focus on my goals.
However, I was hell-bent on performing well on my board test. I paid close attention to every subject every day at school and meticulously recorded key information. I took several extra lessons in addition to the mandatory ones to widen my knowledge and review what I had learned previously. To earn excellent results on my board test, I must admit that I worked my fingers to the bone. Of course, my sheer perseverance and unwavering efforts have resulted in a percentile rank of more than 80. It taught me the value of having a roadmap and knowing what you want to achieve. It is critical that we select a path and focus all of our energy in that direction. Running after many things at once is pointless.
Sample Answer 2
Success means different things to everyone. For Elon Musk it could be colonizing Mars, for Jeff Bezos it could be making Amazon an omnipresent service across the world, for the house help employed in my home, it could be sending their kids to school and watching them grow older and get well-paying jobs. Success means different things to everyone, and to me, this is what it means. Success, to me, is not something that can be measured by money, scores, grades, or a designation – I know that if I define success by those terms, I will get caught in always wanting more, and as a result, I will never be successful or content with my life. Success is what makes you happy, and that’s the goal for me. I define success by my happiness. Being kind makes me happy, living a fulfilling life makes me happy, and my family and friends and my little hobbies make me happy. That is a success to me. I achieved it when I let go of material beliefs and refused to get caught in this mad rat race that the world is having. I gave it a good thought and realized that if I define my life and happiness with these parameters, I will never be happy because I’ll always want to be more successful. So I decided to be happy instead, and success followed. This success was probably one of the most important in my life as it gave me a newfound perspective and appreciation for things that I just did not see before. It lifted a weight off my shoulders and I am grateful for it. It is vital for each person to define his/her happiness and success because it’s your life, and you should set your boundaries.
