Sample Answer 1
One of the memorable wedding functions that I have attended and enjoyed the most was the wedding function of my cousin Vivan. It was just last month that I happened to attend his wedding. I remember distinctly that it was the first-ever function I attended physically after the covid lockdown. Just the thought of meeting my family members was so joyful that I took 5 days’ leave from the office to attend the program.
Vivan is the eldest cousin amongst all my cousins from the maternal side of the family. He and his girlfriend have been in a long-term relationship for the past 3 years and planned to get married last month. The wedding was held in Delhi’s Eleven Course marriage venue. It was lavishly adorned, with several lights, candles, and flowers adorning the space. Three glitzy wedding picture books were displayed, depicting tables at the formal gate’s center. The bride and groom looked stunning in their wedding dress.
Personally, I had a great time at this wedding. I adored the way it was celebrated, the way everyone talked about the bride and groom, and how joyful and lovely everyone was. It was a joyous occasion, and I thoroughly liked every aspect. I was able to meet several members of my family that I would not have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. I made the most of the opportunity and took several photographs with the bride and groom. To commemorate his wedding day, I got my cousin a present. It was indeed a memorable wedding.
Sample Answer 2
I have always been an ardent fan of Indian weddings. I adore the kind of traditions and culture we follow during this time. Undoubtedly, organizing a wedding is nothing less than celebrating a festival in the house.
So, talking about one of the memorable weddings I attended, it was in Udaipur. My eldest sister was getting married, and she always wanted a destination wedding. So, back in 2018, my parents had organized a lavish one in Bhairav Garh Palace, Udaipur.
The wedding was organized in mid-November; thus, the weather was somewhat supportive. While we had to deal with scorching heat during the daytime, the nights were breezy and cool. One of the best things about this wedding was it was the first of our generation. Since we are just two siblings, the entire obligation for arrangement fell upon me. Right from shopping to ensuring everybody’s departure at the right time, I was on my toes throughout the wedding.
We stayed in the palace for four days, overlooking every arrangement. This was the time when my sister simply sat back and relished her time of being a queen of the family. All in all, those days were enthralling, and the memories we created at her wedding are long-lasting.

I am an introvert who doesn’t like to socialize much with people. So, attending a function or a gathering is a big deal for me. Early last year, I learned that one of my close elder sisters, Gargi, was getting married, and I felt obligated to attend her wedding since she was so important to me. She always cared for me like a kind caring older sister when I was a child, and we share a very special bond.
In September, the wedding ceremony took place in Goa. My sister chose the venue for the wedding. She had always desired a quiet wedding, where she could spend time with her close friends and family following the wedding rites. The wedding took place along the ocean and was stunningly gorgeous, with fresh flowers, lights, and candles. The principal theme of the wedding was pink and yellow. Thus all of the guests were asked to wear clothing in any shade of these hues.
I enjoyed every bit of the celebration. Particularly meeting my other cousins and relatives. The food was delicious and had a wonderful variety of snacks. I needed to attend her wedding since she, along with her husband and in-laws, decided to relocate to the UK, after the wedding. I wanted to spend some time with her before moving to the UK and sharing some of her precious moments with her personally. She looked gorgeous that day. I personally liked her wedding attire.
