Sample Answer 1 on ‘Schools Should Teach Children to Become Good Citizens’
The debate about whether educational institutions should primarily aim at producing good citizens and workers or great thinkers has different sides. Personally, I consider the latter quite highly even though independent humans result in some advantages. However, I am of the opinion that the former presents many more.
The two most important reasons why schools need to produce free thinkers are as follows; First, the kids are going to be more responsible, which is a very important skill to become successful. For instance, they will know how to look after themselves like going to school all by themselves, doing their homework, and helping out with house chores, this way the parents will be less burdened. Second, the children will be physically and mentally very strong as they will be able to cope with a hard situation better and with less stress and will be less influenced by their peers and therefore will be faster in their development.
However, there is one reason that can not be overlooked which is no other than the need for quality humans and employees. The conclusion is that this method could lead to a better society. Children will have qualities of various good manners and become a perfect community to live with. Besides, if people turn out to be good workers that would also mean high earnings which would in turn lower the unemployment rate. Thus, it would lessen the people's interest in committing a crime which is a way of solving inequality at the same time.
To conclude, the development of independent individuals is indeed important and necessary, but I am of the opinion that being good people and workers is the priority.

Sample Answer 2 on ‘Schools Should Teach Children to Become Good Citizens’
Nowadays, it is debated that schools should teach children how to become law-abiding citizens and good employees rather than independent people. This essay supports this viewpoint and claims that it will help the society operate better as well as create a safer place to live in.
Being a good worker results in a good society not only on the surface but also at the core. Good workers in greater numbers would mean that more sales will be done as a result, economic value would rise. That will lead to more taxes being paid by workers and companies, so the government will have more money to invest in city areas. Just like countries like Japan and China, who opted to hire only the best, now have cities that are central to the world economy.
Moreover, teaching people about ethics and morals can lead to the birth of extraordinary citizens. It would create an environment of trust among individuals and thus, slowly develop communities. Moreover, it would discourage people from engaging in violent crimes thus, making the neighborhoods safer. For instance, the students in Somalia are taught the values of kindness and sharing in their religious classes considered as part of their curriculum and thus, they gain these values which will be applied throughout their life and which will have a positive impact on the places they live.
In conclusion, I think being a good citizen and worker should be a part of school education since it can really happen that society would be on a positive track like the case of a country's economic value being raised or a safer environment created when the teaching is done at a young age.
