Sample Essay 1
It is pretty conspicuous that the chariot of any country primarily (if not wholly) drifts on the wheels of the economy, and thence, many constituencies believe that rising on the economic front is the predominant aspect they need to focus on. However, some people argue that other developmental fronts should be taken seriously as well.
The monetary aspect is a quintessential pillar when it comes to the development stature of a country. The GDP, NNP, NI (National income), etc., are some of the deciding factors as to how a country has been doing. The government, as a result, moves forth with this prospect as indistinguishably, capital is the most prime thing that harbours other resources directly or indirectly.
Contrary to that, a significant pool of people also advocates the requirement of bolstering other purviews of development. They say that if other resources don’t exist, then consequentially, monetization to an extent wouldn’t be picturized to reality. Prominent facet as human resources, which is the most epitome treasure needs to be equally focussed on. The other subliminal aligned domains should also be thrown light upon. Taping right from the educational setup, research methodologies, laboratories, medical amenities, etc., in a way, corresponds to the overall enrichment of the lacuna.
In conclusion, it is not the money or monetary front on its own that makes a sovereign state a superpower. It may be a prominent and eminent dimension, but is not the sole determinant for development. A wholesome opulence of a country comes with all-round prosperity as could be inferred, and hence, accentuating on a monochromatic wavelength doesn’t flourish in an array of the gradient of a successful nation, single handedly.
Sample Essay 2
Often, the progress of a country is evaluated by economic growth. Hence, a lot of governments concentrate more on economic growth instead of other factors. But, some people may have contrasting ideas as they believe more in political stability, social condition, security and education. And, I believe all of these factors are important for the country’s advancement.
On the one hand, a lot of governments pay attention to economic development other than different parts of life as they perceive that economic growth plays a vital role in the nation’s development. When the economy of a country is developing, it makes sure there are more business ventures, more job opportunities, and seamless collection of funds by governments through taxes. Thus, these funds can be used for the enhancement of several other sectors, like military services, public infrastructures and education.
On the other hand, though economic growth is essential, governments should make sure the environment stays green, and the living standards are better. The country’s economic condition will not develop if there is no support from secure social situations, political and educational systems. Investors would not be able to put their money in nations that are insecure politically, such as Iraq and Afghanistan. Moreover, without skilled and educational workers, it will be tough for a nation to enhance trade and industrial activities. Thus, the growth and development of economic sectors must be aligned with other vital sectors.
Concluding this, it is evident that economic growth plays a vital role in the country’s development. However, I believe that apart from economic progress, social welfare, better education, political stability are important for the country’s sustainable development.
Band 9 Sample Essay
Economic advancement is one of the significant and commonly used indicators for development. Thus, enhancing the economic outlook of a nation has always been a top priority for any public administration system. However, there is a dilemma in the minds of people regarding the importance of improving aspects like social harmony, public healthcare and how these are often neglected. I firmly believe that progress is only possible when the circumstances of every component of a country are refined. In the following paragraphs, I will elaborate on both sides of the discussion.
There is no doubt to the fact that economic progress is a crucial objective when it comes to governing a republic. The grade of public services, availability of decent employment, and the general standard of living of the population are all greatly influenced by a nation’s fiscal strength. Moreover, the upliftment of nearly every sector of public administration is dependent on the financial resources available to the government.
Au contraire, several other characteristics that determine the well-being of the populace of a country need to be taken care of by the authorities. One of the most vital of these attributes is the political scenario and the integrity of the legislative system prevailing in the country. If the political powers and elected officials are incapable of serving the public substantially, the development of the nation is bound to come to a halt. Furthermore, issues like social injustice, lack of decent living conditions, and the absence of suitable educational and medical facilities also need to be addressed without delay.
Finally, the value of an economically stable country is well-recognized by both the government and the people, especially in this day and age. However, the efforts invested by the administration should be balanced and not concentrated on a single sector.

A lot of governments believe that economic progress is their most important aim. Some people, however, think that other types of progress are equally important for a country. In this essay, I will discuss both these views and give my opinions.
On the one hand, governments tend to maintain their power through economic progress because they can protect their country. For example, if a country has money to spend on the army, they can design guns or recruit/hire more soldiers to make sure they won’t be attacked by others. In addition, they might want to gain a more powerful international status, they need to be economically strong enough. Given by these reasons, it’s significant to have economic progress.
On the other hand, some people consider that other aspects of improvements also matter, as the citizens might want to have better living conditions. Firstly, the governments should upgrade the health system of society, so it can help to prevent sickness. Secondly, it is also important to develop the educational system. By doing so, citizens can have better knowledge to find jobs in the future. With these two developments, citizens will be able to earn more money and have happier lives.
As far as I’m concerned, governments should focus on economic progress first, after that, they must develop other types of improvement for their country. Once the governments have great economic power to protect their nation they can spend more money on the health system, education to give them a happy life. Let’s take China as an example. China was poor before but it aimed at developing its economic condition first. Now it has become the strongest nation and started to develop other aspects. For me, this is a good idea for a nation’s development.
In conclusion, governments and people have different views on what to develop first. Some are keen on economic development, while others like to put effort on other types of improvement. In my opinion, I believe these both views are equally important for a country, people need a safe place to live first, and they also need to have other protections from the governments.
